Green arrived at pre season bigger than stewie dew and has done bigger all, McStay also done bugger all since, well, forever. Top 10 pick?? **** you can't be serious!
Greens form prior to this year had been good. He missed all pre season and yes, had packed on some puppy fat.

You've quite obviously got no idea on how much time young talls take to develop properly and gain consistency. He's very talented. He's one of our most talented tall s given he can play at both ends. If we traded a contracted McStay for less than a top 10 pick. I'd give up on us.

$400k is a bit too much to pay, but for me it's not so much the salary, it's the length of the deal. I'm not keen on having a 28 year old ruck who seems to be struggling already tied to the club for three years, particularly if we're trading a decent asset for him.
Lobbe will have two years left on his deal

Ah, my mistake. That's not too bad then.
All purely hypothetical of course but if Martin was open to a move to a club with a chance of giving him premiership success before the end of his career would big Stef be of any interest? It's unlikely given he signed a 3 year contract at the end of last year though. He does seem a loyal type that wants to re-pay the faith shown in him when we revived his career.

We'd have to get secure someone like Witts before hand of course.

We wanted him badly last season and courted him all year. Eventually after considering everything for quite some time he decided that he wanted to remain a Lion and see it through. Doubt things would have changed a year later but who knows.

We were said to be into Martin last year like Lobbe. Martin apparently pulled the pin though so not sure he'd be keen. He's made his bed.

Not sure the price would be worth it myself either but the Dogs might be keen.

MacKensie must be in good form knowing every single trade the Eagles want to get rid of him lol
Not so much that rather it has been reported that his management have fielded several inquiries and he has been presented with offers from two Clubs . His mgmt are saying he is a 60 / 70 chance to stay.
He is in contract for 2017 but a good offer to WC may see a trade done.
So it's not so much WC posters wanting him out rather playing hypothetical trades.

Nah west coast posters know that Mckenzie hasn't been so good for a while, may not return to his best , that he didn't really have a great many good seasons as good as his good was it was very short lived , and are hoping they can turn him into an asset going forward in a trade.

The reason why West Coast supporters are putting EMac up is because he plays in a position where we have depth and would have the most currency of our players outside the 22. If it wasn't for Gov who is in AA form or Barrass who dominated WAFL and is now doing great in the first team, he would be playing in the seniors. None of us mind if he stays as he will be back to being a quality defender.

Pretty sure GWS offered us 2 first rounders for Breust last year or a couple of years ago, so I reckon if Breust was to Get to GWS we would just deal directly with them!

i could of cried today someone called up 1116 sen radio in Melbourne and said his heard a lot of talk about a possible mega trade... stay with me

Tom Mitchell goes to hawks
Bradley Hill goes to Freo
Nat fyfe goes to swans

with a mixture of draft picks thrown around each way, i nearly crashed my car i was laughing so hard

If there is a chance fyfe leaves next year, now would be the time to get fyfe...they could just about get any player in the league or a very good combo of players.

Very delicate situation for freo

I cant even describe how stupid that would be for the swans when you need to re sign heeney, kennedy and mills in the coming years not to mention the 10 other players in the 22 like jones, ried, O'Riordan, Davis, Foote, Hiscox, Marsh, Nankervis, Newman to name a few

There is absolute ZERO chance of McStay, the same McStay that struggles to get a game, getting a top 10 pick.

A 26yo next year, half forward who averages 16 disposals and 2 goals a game is worth what. Imagine what he would be worth if he played for a bottom 4 team, his averages would nearly half with less opportunity. Anyway I can't see this player leaving his current club.
