The melts

I've had a gutful.Sam leaving has killed it for me, he'll if Lewis goes and poppy makes it worse.i decided tonight that the way us the supporters have been treated and forgotten about by the club shows me that they couldn't care less about the fans, treat veterans with disdain move them on for bit players from multiple different clubs,acted aggressively like rabid dogs to get players who know nothing about the brown & gold.Decided it's time to walk away from footy, Sammy was my hero wanted my son to meet him but it never happened, now definetly won't... I never had another member of the team I liked except lake from the three peat, after that i didn't even barrack for sizzle.So maybe being heartbroken it's time to move on to things that aren't so painful.i'm tired of everybody praising GW and clarko.they got this wrong, very wrong.

those poor, poor Hawthorn supporters, really shameful how they have been treated by the club. Imagine only getting to watch your team win 3 GFs in a row and not 4. Just a disgrace really

Gee, my heart aches....

The trade still has to play out. Hawthorn might do okay out of it if they get a player instead of / with a late pick.

Anyway. This whole story is less about Hawthorn collapsing (not true) and more about us being savvy at the trade table and grabbing an opportunity when it arose.

I'd be pretty annoyed if we gave up a decent young prospect for Lewis when they let Mitchell go for 88

I know ANB's name has been thrown up but I'd prefer to keep him, and even moreso I'd prefer that Hawthorn don't get him as he is what they need

Omg Jordan Lewis came into my work today to speak with two blokes i didn't recognize. One of them had a bunch of papers Jordan was reading. I made a 3qtr strong latte for Lewis. An hour later he requests a trade to us. Id like to think my coffee sealed the deal.

Also you can now refer to me as "Jordan Lewis' personal barista" when discussing all future trade rumours.

You and Jordan can have many one on one conversations and agree on all issues!

Edit: you're not a barista at a caravan park are you?

3/4 of a shot, or only fill it 3/4 with milk? Really hope it's the latter or else he's truly lost the plot.

Double shot of coffee, three quarters of milk. Old mate goes hard.

Surely it's a 3rd or 4th rounder for Lewis. Yes that'd be a bargain for us. The Rockliff rumour seems to have been just that.
Sending next years second to Bombers for Hibberd also pours could water on a Rockliff trade. And next years second makes sense to. At least gives us a shot at this years draft.

would anyone be upset if Vanders went back to the hawks in this deal? (just a hypothetical ive been thinking about)
No, he's going to struggle to get many games imo.

For those that werent there scence went like this...

Bluelegs = Todd.

Jordan = Magato

Josh Mahoney = Derek.

I don't want to let go of VDB. I don't want to send anyone to the Hawks. Stuff em. Don't see any players coming back from the Mitchell trade. Love too how he wants to come to Melbourne and its "nope, required player". Next minute they're trying to sell him to GC to get Jaeger in. So only a required player in certain circumstances it seems. What assholes. No wonder he wants to leave. Plus nobody looks acceptable in that uniform. Christ knows what it would do for VDB - nothing good I suspect. Hawks can get stuffed. According to their board they are cunningly getting rid of Lewis because he's shit, so why is he worth a Melbourne player coming back? Screw that for a joke. Hope they implode in tears sooner rather than later, though later works okay too I guess.

Not really. If VdB is still a regular in our best 22 in 3 years time I'd be pretty disappointed.

He's good depth though.

SEN were saying it would be our 3rd rounder which is 47? after the compo picks?

I am happy with that, I look forward to the Hawks fans melting when it is finalised and they haven't landed Hunt :D

My preference would be 4th but that will do.
