Jesus, i really don't get this, unless of course its posturing on behalf of his agent.

The guy is an amazing talent, and has shown when fit he's got the weapons to be a great midfielder. But the way they talk, its like he's a guaranteed future Brownlow winner in a competition bereft of good inside mids.

So how they can honestly believe any club is going to offer top dollar PLUS Fyfe levels of draft picks for a bloke with 2 dodgey knees......... I mean come on! Seems like a case that you could pay 1/2 as much and get 80% of the performance in any number of young promising midfielders (just look at GWS for examples).

Ok rant done. Just hope we don't buy into this crap.

Pretty sure GC are just doing everything they can to scare clubs off him, after his injuries you would be no chance to his actual value

Incredible to watch when on song and I really hope he gets back to his best but if the Hawks, Richmond, or Saints want to blow two first rounders on him let them I say.

Part of me just bristles up at the way this steaming pile of crap is written. You don't get to use the phrase "industry sources" then just write whatever shit you feel lie making up to make the narrative more shocking. What industry source is going to be shy about going on the record saying "we think he's pretty good and we'd expect Gold Coast's starting demands would be 2 first rounders"..... its a gambit, a starting position!

He's one of the better 1 on 1 defenders in the league but we are playing a zone system now that requires a hell of alot of athleticism which we are using Mcdonald and Frost for
That and the club has decided to invest 22 games into Oscar Mcdonald as a long term replacement

Roos has drawn a line though everyone who played much before he got there other than Jones and Watts. I guess he thought it easier to start again than rehab mentally broken players. The senior backs were the last to get the chop. Dunn has plenty left to offer another team.

Agree with all TSH said above, if anyone is looking for expeirenced defender with something left in the tank you'd be mad not to look at Dunn. I feel sorry for the bloke after all he has been through with us, he's a heart and soul player who always busted his arse while having to take on, and on most occasions, beating the bigger key forwards even though he is much more suited to the mid sized ones.

Two matches last year standout, When Cloke was giving TMac a bath, Dunn went to him and quietened him down, and the absolute flogging he gave Hawkins when we beat Geelong at KP.

He deserves another chance and i hope he has success wherever he goes next year.

Dunn is the unluckiest , someone could so a Brian Lake with him.. Bulldogs for instance
