It's not right you wouldn't like if Essendon were trying to lure Hogan and Petracca.
No it's not, it is just so hard isn't it? Go and tell your mummy about the bad Demons.

So we could potentially have three ex-essendon players filling our backline from 2017. Not sure how to feel about that
Considering how bloody good that backline was at full strength I'll take it.

I can actually understand Bombers supporters being pissed off, hell i would too.

At the end of the day youre pointing the finger at the wrong people though, Hibberd or Hurley wouldnt even be "available" if your own club didnt act with such incompetence.

That's true but still doesn't make it right might as well not have player contracts.

I'd almost feel bad about it but then I remember:

B: Frost Hurley Jetta
HB: Hibberd T McDonald Hunt

+ Salem, Bugg, Melksham

Salem actually probably wouldn't get a game next year in the ideal best 22 if we Added Hurley Hibberd and Melksham to the starting 22
Bloody hell would we have some depth though it would single a very fast end for Dunn/Grimes/Garland

Salem should be pushed up to the midfield anyway. IMO he'd even be more valuable on a half forward flank than off half back.

Yeah agreed, I'd be playing him as the 6th forward if he is good enough in the role or fighting with Stretch as the winger

Salem's better than Melksham though.

Salems over rated .. hasn't actually managed to do alot in the backline and Melksham will almost certainly start in front of him
Can't argue with his poor start, but he's very talented and can kick...even if not as well as first hoped. Melksham has never played defence.

Yeah but Salems defending isn't great for mine, I'd much rather him up the wing or hff
Melksham loves the tough stuff and can tackle and has played a little in the backline for the bombers
I noticed we tried Harmes down their as well so Atleast we will have plenty of options

Silly comparison. Essendon breached the contract which is why they need to re-sign all their players.

Actually it's not being a sook it's called being disrespectful which Melbourne is currently doing.
No they are not.. This is Essendons self caused problem from when they totally cheated the system and treated the competition with contempt.. Don't come soiling here for the mistakes your club has made

Salem - is a natural, don't have any issues with him being a gun for us in future.
Bit of faith in Salem from me. Young guy with heaps of talent and a beautiful kicking action that even hit targets. He has been delayed in development from injury then illness, but I'll back him in. There isn't a disease that makes talent shrivel up. In a way, with no first round draft pick next year, he could well be the big good news story.

I get the sense that this is possibly why Weideman won't play this year, so the club can talk him up over the summer and unleash him as a new top pick.

I'm not going to make it past round two from shock about the good news then next year. Unleashing Salem and the Weed!!!

They had better get Brashaw out on the park this year, because a triple unveiling will see me out. Certain.

Also probably won't play because his form from the early rounds has really died out. I honestly don't expect him to play AFL in 2016 unless he starts kicking 3 every week like he was early in the season.
