I said who had played much before Roos. CBF looking it up but Jetta was a rookie list bit timer and Kent a baby. Maybe Tommy had 40 games under his belt.

Either way it's as brutal a list cut as you'll ever see over 3 years. Kinda stealthy too, the narrative is more around Roos turning the squad around rather than an all time great cull.

Its amazing that he's managed to do it without anyone lashing out or demanding a trade etc ... he's basically started from scratch

Agree with all TSH said above, if anyone is looking for expeirenced defender with something left in the tank you'd be mad not to look at Dunn. I feel sorry for the bloke after all he has been through with us, he's a heart and soul player who always busted his arse while having to take on, and on most occasions, beating the bigger key forwards even though he is much more suited to the mid sized ones.

Two matches last year standout, When Cloke was giving TMac a bath, Dunn went to him and quietened him down, and the absolute flogging he gave Hawkins when we beat Geelong at KP.

He deserves another chance and i hope he has success wherever he goes next year.

Proper Gander im pretty sure you were behind something to do with it, might have been Headless also? Did we just all say we were going to get flogged all week long? Something like that? Anyone who said we had any sort of hope we shot down in flames? Anyway, if it comes down to next week we might have to dig up that thread vs the Cats and work out what we did right and run with it again.

Also, if MAXIMUM GAWNAGE is not doing the preview next week with Balmey and Liam Jurruh i will be requesting he does so.

Thought the same. Given that the hole he was going to be filling has been plugged up the last 5-6 weeks by Frost and OMac, I was concerned that it would cost us a lot more than we can afford to spend.

Probably a winger and a ruck forward but they are now luxuries not needs, we have stretch and weiderman just need depth

Dunn is the unluckiest , someone could so a Brian Lake with him.. Bulldogs for instance

Yep for sure.

I still think we could get a pretty decent free agent this year for two reasons: we're becoming, dare I say it, a destination club, plus we should have a fair bit of salary cap space if we get rid of a few of Dawes/Grimes/Dunn/Garland considering they'll be on decent money.

I agree, I don't think we need both hurley and hibberd, and what he spend on hibberd will leave nothing left for hurley pick wise.

I think we should aim to pick up a big name FA at the end of 2017, quite a few really good ones are currently OOC then.

Having said that, a fair bit of $$$ will be used next heat to extend the likes of Brayshaw Petracca Tyson etc
