I can use the word depth when referring to our squad for the first time in 20 years.
What a backline!!!
Casey are going to be a force again with this first team selection pressure.

1 Casey Scorpions 16 13 3 0 3 1671 951 175.71 52

Think they are already....that percentage holy hell.

Yeah I had a look before. I figured they were doing alright from reading the twos' reports and seeing firsts guys racking up 30+ possessions consistently but that is some season. This is how it all starts. Time to start getting excited, but for real this time. :rainbow:

I don't think we'll see the depth we have this year again, i expect around 5 senior players to get delisted or traded out

Gee I hope Hibbo plays really well for you guys, could be the missing link you need. Sad to see him go but I will never have any bad things to say about anyone leaving due to that whole saga. I hope for all parties we get the deal done first day or within the first week of the trade period.

Looking forward to watching the Dees even more next year. Will play finals.

Good luck with Pig next season.

He's a very decent player, certainly an upgrade on Lumumba.

Lumumba has been pretty bad, probably the only thing the club has made a clear error on.

I think we'd love to have our time again on Garland's contract last year.

True, but he does give us pretty decent depth. He's not a bad player to have sitting at Casey waiting for an injury.

Of course that would depend on the size of his contract...

3 years for depth is never good.

Pedo for example, got a one year deal last year, he is much more valuable than Garland is.

It is what it is but if we can flog him off and pay some of his salary for the next two years i would. Id much rather keep Dunn for depth.

Yeah, I agree with all that

Hopefully can palm Garland off in the Hibberd trade.

I'd be quite happy to pay Pedersen min wage to play for casey, great player to have ready if injuries hit (remember them!!!???)

Will be a fantastic recruit for you guys. Have watched and grown up with hibbo down the Peninssula way.

Was a real loose cannon back in his day but really pulled his head in during his time at Frankston which resulted in us picking him up.

Will allow a guy like Bernie Vince to play more predominantly through the middle rather than half back which it seems he has done so this year
