I enjoy the discussion it's started but I feel like the majority of you have missed my point still and Gysberts2Bate just trolls me these days so who knows what he's doing

Would I trade Salem right now? NO because the point I was trying to make is his stock is at probably it's lowest point for the next 5-7 years
He's been out injured for big chunks of 2 seasons and has honestly only played a handful of good games
He's way more valuable to us than to someone else, all I was saying was that from a neutral perspective I can understand why opposition supporters would think it's a fair deal
No one would pay a first rounder for him right now which takes him into Hibberd's territory and Hibbo is a proven AFL player while Salem is still potential

I'm not sold either way on him myself yet because I haven't seen anything to get me off my seat in regards to his decision making coming out of the back half

- Fremantle - as a holdover/depth
- Brisbane - help protect Schache
- Port - Schulz cooked, Butch's papers stamped, need someone up forward that isn't named Dixon. Will be the most trampoliney hands in history.
- Richmond - replace Vickery
- Essendon (ironically enough) - I'm still firmly of the belief that they need a KPF to partner with Daniher. And I don't rate Cale Hooker as a KPF.

Just leave him on the curb with a free sign. I did that with an old couch in St Kilda, gone in an hour. So then I put a selection of questionable electrical items, a still in wrapping lava lamp, some fuzzy dice and a vintage smurf colouring book out and that lot was snapped up in 40 minutes, however I did get a threatening letter and personal visit from a council bloke as well.

I reckon with Dawesy it'd be more like the time I put a mass of ornamental and herb clippings in a cardboard box on the kerb.

I probably should have been clearer ... In no way do I have any desire to trade Salem, I'm a big fan. It was merely a response to the supposed interest from Essendon in making him a part of the Hibberd deal, and the discussion to his value to us, and his value on the open market etc.

We could trade him for a late round pick like #94 or something to then use to upgrade a rookie. I assume the club wants Wagner on the senior list

He has to be actually delisted for that to happen tho, its not automatic when a player is out of contract. So the club can keep him on the list, without a new contract for the Trade Period to shop him around, if there is no takers and we still don't want him, then he'd be a Delisted Free Agent, and could go where he pleases.
