As much as I rate ANB, I reckon that would be worth doing. Vardy is a wildcard but if fit would be perfect for us and Motlop is pure class.

If we get him he will retire within two years.

However good we get we still have the Dawes of sports scientists at the club. You'd be mad bringing in an already limp player.

Yeah he will be a good player but at the end of the day if he cant get in the 1s then what is the problem with trading a player of worth to get what we need

Good move. At absolute worst he's good depth who shows good leadership for the young guys at Casey. I don't think he was as bad as some made him out to be when he played in the seniors this year either.

I agree, love his talent when he's on, but he picks and chooses when he's on too often. Probably about as bad as you could get in terms of value for money and what it would cost us via trade.

I agree, he wasn't bad, just not up to it. I actually think most people on here were hoping for exactly this. Give him a proper pre season to get right and have a real crack next season.

There is no chance MFC would use/waste a future 1st rounder on Motlop, they must use that pick in 2017 to get the best player possible in the draft.
