Barrett is under the impression that we're plotting something actually ... which is a pretty sure fire sign that we're bringing in Hibberd and shutting up shop.

Incidently, with yet another compo pick pushing our second out again, next years second is looking a bit more attractive to Essendon

I'd wait another year to see how our current list plays out before targeting a small forward. Between Kent/Kennedy/Garlett/JKH i'm willing to stick with our current stocks to get the job done.

Id have Burgoyne for 12 months... you never know how far you'd go with someone capable of his moments in your side...

I'd take Lewis for a couple of years, but I don't think I'd want to give up too much. I recognise it'd take midfield minutes off some of our younger players, but I honestly think that's outweighed by the premiership experience and the like.

Why would we do everything we could in 2016 to fast track the development of our kids, to turn around and stall that development in 2017?

Hibberd and Melksham will provide enough experience.

Yeah, I'm pretty ambivalent on it, to be honest. Good points. I'm just not sure that getting Lewis would be stalling development.
