For Trump I agree. I don't see how after this debate more people go toward Clinton than before.

I'd expect Sanders and Trump to approach it similarly in that they'll agree with each other on a lot of the problems facing America but Trump going down the "I'm living in reality while you're in a dream world" type criticism while Sanders stressed his desire for inclusiveness rather than trying "to divide people up" as he's criticised Trump about before. I imagine Sanders will go really hard at Trump too. I'd also expect Trump to ruthlessly attack Clinton and try to get Sanders to go down that road too. I doubt Sanders will do that though.
Sanders has said several times he wants Clinton as prez if he doesn't get the nom. Hell that's the entire reason why he hasn't attacked her at all during their campaign. In fact I cant believe the stupidity of people who believe this debate will be just Trump and Sanders attacking Clinton. We will see a Sanders unlike never before, he will come out and come out hard against Trump. And the above posters are right, Trump is walking a tight rope here and attacking back at Sanders will result in his supporters not voting for him in the election, and losing a debate with a democratic contender that wont even win their respective primary will be fatal to Trumps campaign. This is why it's so mind boggling dumb for Trump to even entertain the idea of a debate. Hell, Sander's train of thought is probably "cool, I get air time just before the California primary and I also get to ravage the GOP nom in the process. And if I don't get the nom then Hillary can use this debate against Trump in the general."

Admittedly, Trump could find a middle ground where he could be seen as beating Sanders however also by agreeing with some of his policies as to entice some of his voting base in the general. But I suspect Sanders will be on his toes and will attack Trump at every opportunity he tries to do this.

speaking of chickening out, he also ran away from the Vince Foster conspiracy stuff he brought up the other day after Fosters sister tore him a new one in the Washington Post.

He's a four time bankrupt with a string of business failures behind him, and yet he's somehow he's seen ads this huge success who's going to change America. It's a triumph of style over substance.

Corporate Bankruptcies are different to personal bankruptcies :$. Try a different one.

So he's run four business' into the ground, and yet he's suitable to be charge of the second biggest economy in the world?
Do you know how the economy works? Do you think every business is a success? There have been plenty of corporate bankruptcies due to market conditions. Arrium? Babcock and Brown? Ansett? Virgin Cola? Masters? Dick Smith? :$. (I can keep continuing with businesses that have failed if you want and the directors/persons behind it are still good businessmen)

Your arguments are incredibly thin lmao.

I should remind that Sir Richard Branson that he is a poor businessman becuase Virgin Cola was a failure.

Richard Branson made himself, Trump just inherited daddy's money and had to dance around pitifully lenient bankruptcy laws just to avoid losing most of what was handed to him. No comparison

We're not talking about how Branson/Trump got their money. We're talking about business failures. Goalposts are over here.

It's all about perception versus reality, anyone interested in this campaign should have look at Tim Robbins' 1992 film Bob Roberts, in light of the Trump campaign, it looks visionary.

Wha? You used Branson as an analogy, I merely pointed out how stupid that analogy is with facts. I'm sorry you have to selectively pick facts to suit your argument, sounds like what a Trump fan does, kicks a point and tells you it's a goal

Ah what's the use of talking with you Trump fans anyway, you guys have an average IQ of Essendon's points total this season, go right back to posting dumb memes or calling people cucks or something

Not entirely surprised that Trump pulled out because it was a risk but he does need to take risks. Despite the polling it's still pretty unlikely that Trump wins and he needs to build a new coalition of white working class voters. You could understand the idea behind it.

That isn't an argument. I was clearly referring to business failures not to how they made their money.

The point was that he implied that Trump is a business failure because he had 4 corporate bankruptcies. I referred to Virgin Cola which was ran by a very successful businessman by the name of Sir Richard Branson.

I think it is very sad that you try to belittle me at every chance you get yet I've not gone for personal attacks at you at all.

Welp, Trump is a pussy, always been a pussy
Trump had nothing to gain debating Sanders. If he won he'd have put off potential Sander supporters in the general election (needs a fair few of them to win it) or he loses and is made to look like a chump in front of a candidate not even the Dems first choice (which would give Clinton a lot of ammo in the general).
