He's a four time bankrupt with a string of business failures behind him, and yet he's somehow he's seen ads this huge success who's going to change America. It's a triumph of style over substance.
Trump: tried failed, tried succeed, tried failed, tried succeed, tried failed, tried succeed, tried failed, tried succeed,

Gough: "There's always time to smoke weed."........"Why has he got more than me?"

Trump's backing out of the Sanders debate is his first real gaffe which I think will hurt him.

He had everything to gain from it; they could have both attacked Clinton after she shut herself out by going back on her commitments, he could have pointed out how Sanders was treated unfairly (and agreed that wall street was corrupt and the establishment needed an overhaul), and any attacks Sanders would have landed wouldn't have mattered because he won't be the nominee. By doing this debate he could have damaged Clinton AND courted a lot of of the anti-establishment independents currently supporting Sanders.

Instead he comes out looking bad instead of Clinton.

So IDK. I thought he was smarter than that.

Or sanders states on stage that there is no way his supporters should vote for trump because he is antithetical to everything he stands for and that they should vote democrat no matter who the nominee is. That would have hurt trump.

Don't forget trump is actually a really bad debater on policies. He can take cheap shots at opponents when there at 10 people on stage when everyone had a minute to speak. Explaining a policy in depth when there are only two. No chance.

There's a good chance we won't see a Hillary v trump debate for that very reason

Sanders would have crucified him on any actual topic.

He can play personality politics with Clinton instead in a months time.

Avoiding Sanders was smart.

Maybe it was smart, but it also highlights a significant weakness of his. It's all very well to stand up, and throw insults left, right, and centre in front of a partisan audience, but to win the election he's going to have to be a lot more sophisticated than that.

Depends. No mandatory voting and the death of the American middle class will help him.

If its between him and Clinton we are all ****** either way.

The odds on Clinton copping shit or an indictment for the email scandals?

I have always believed that even if the FBI went at her, Obama would presidential pardon her from any wrongdoing.

Nope, I've been banned :'( Thanks for all the notifications while I was gone guyz.

Haven't heard back from you on the detail front so I'll just go with this.

1) Meaningless motherhood statement.

2) An end to neo-conservative and humanitarian intervention wars. Fair policy points to make.

3) Fair arguments to be made. (Outdated military equipment though? I doubt even the USAF would have the gall to try that one on)

4) Russia has ZERO interest in helping the United States achieve anything. Syria was a one off because of Tartus. Confronting Islam contradicts 2).

5) If he manages to actually achieve this, I will personally fly to the US and crown him Caesar. By that I mean it is both EXTREMELY unlikely to happen and also a very good idea.
Sounds like you agree with most of it.

And liberals still have the nerve to ask why people support Trump.
They already know why people vote Trump. BECAUSE THEY'RE ******* WHITE MALES! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!

I agree with this. He should have either a) Declined immediately to avoid more violence, and avoid turning off Bernouts, or b) Once he accepted, he should have gone in 100%. It's risky, but had the potential to cripple Crooked Hillary's campaign.

That, and I really really wanted to watch that debate.

And to everyone who said that Bernie would destroy Trump in a debate... Bernie has had quite a few debates against one of the worst presidential candidates in history, someone who is corrupt, nasty, with no charisma whatsoever... and he's still losing. Meanwhile, Trump has debated against some of the finest debaters in the world (Ted Cruz may be an evil religious fanatic, but he's so good at debating that Princeton named a debating prize after him) and wins so much we're getting tired of winning!
