Well yeah but history is instructive here. The parallels are striking.
Goldwater stood against racial equality. He opposed Civil Rights. Trump is a racist moonbat.
Both had foreign policies which were confrontational at best, reckless at worst.
Both were opposed by the entrenched within the Republicans for being too extreme.
And all the Dems had to do was say "Hey. Look at that guy". They could have ran with a cardboard cut out. And that's what they have with Clinton.
All she has to do is campaign on what Trump is and says, and it will be a massacre.

What the Democrats put forward in 1964 was a president that ramped up the war in Vietnam, a conflict that killed 1 million Vietnamese and left a horrific toll of cancers and other afflictions due to the use of Agent Orange in that war.
And right now the Democrats have nominated their most war loving candidate since LBJ.
