Christ, seriously? The lengths you people will go to do defend radical Islamic terrorism is unbelievable! Sad!
I'm not defending radical Islamic terrorism in the slightest, in fact I agree with your earlier points in that I think there is a massive problem with the Islamic philosophy (TBH I think all religion is dangerous).

But I'll believe citizens tweeting from the scene of the crime over the American media ANY day of the week

Eyewitness accounts are notoriously unreliable.

Meanwhile, the FBI have stated that he had ties to radical Islam, and ISIS have already claimed responsibility.

Mate, people running for their lives in a dark nightclub aren't going to get the best look at the bloke. It's understandable that a light browned skin person could appear white in those circumstances.

And surprise surprise... He was a registered democrat. Probably voted for Crooked Hillary in the primaries.

They need to ban Muslims entering the United States, at least until they can figure out what's going on.
This guy was already in the country. Trump's plan wouldnt have done anything

This is the US Election thread.

Point scoring on a tragedy is poor form. Take it to the Terrorism thread if you want to make a point about Terrorism not related to the US election.

Radical Islam advocates hate for women, gays, Jews, Christians and all Americans. I am going to be a President for all Americans, and I am going to protect and defend all Americans. We are going to make America safe again and great again for everyone.

Is there is anyone else that would like to ignore this instruction and have the day off??

Let's try and spell it out a little clearer for those struggling to comprehend.

This thread is about the US Election. It is not a thread on gun control, or the mass shooting at the nightclub, or Islamic terror threats.

Yes, we understand that people are trying to loosely tie Trump's rants on these issues in to the election, but we'd like to think poster here are smarter than that.

Leave the gun control and terrorist attack discussions to the appropriate threads.

There are people here who legitimately want to discuss the election without the thread being yet again derailed.

Fair enough, I'll try and do my part.

I'm surprised how long it's taking Sanders to concede:

Can't work out whether he really believes that he can flip super-delegates this late in the piece, whether he's trying to negotiate something (what?) or whether he is just struggling to come to terms with the end of his campaign. I suspect the latter but the longer it drags out, the worse it looks for him (and whatever he might be trying to negotiate).

I actually like Sanders, a hell of a lot more than I do Hilary, because he stands for something.
IMO a fair bit of the love for Trump is that he is not part of the establishment and is willing to tell them to **** off.
There's a real disconnect, I feel, between the public and the establishment.
I find the same here in Australia with Federal Politics. A lot of people are disenfranchised and disconnected because they all appear as bad as each other.

It's just a shame Trump has such radical views.
