The senior team are now placed 2nd only to the rampaging Gippsland team. Promotion beckons in their second season! This week they play the Melbourne Uni's 9th or 13th team, who are holding up the 3rd div ladder. The seconds however host a much stronger opponent this weekend, it will be a test.

After losing to bottom placed Mitchell Park 2 weeks back, Fitzroy upset likely finalist Brahma Lodge last week by 3 pts and they were pretty chuffed! An even stronger prize awaits them this weekend.

All results updated. The Womens 1sts had a great win and will surely be featuring heavily in finals in their 2nd season, with Gippsland the goliaths to bring down. The 2nds were up against the NW div power club Shepp and struggled to make a dent.

Over in Adelaide, celebrations of last week's victory stuttered out quickly when Woodville South, bullies of the division, put their stamp on both games.

Fitzroy Stars will be playing finals this year with good wins over Thomastown - this was a NAIDOC cup victory, congrats Stars!
