First **** up for the year, thought of the captain loophole at the last minute and then went and put the C on Houli rather than the VC
Intended captain was Martin so in the end that one cost me 2 points, probably a lot happier then most that Martin didn't go triple figures.

Martin is hard to get a read on when coming up against the Eagles first up. I think my major frustration is most of my players were ok with only a few going great, and not many having absolute stinkers, making it hard for me to know what trades to make.
Was aiming for top 100 this year, we've all seen in here how much time and effort and time I've put into my side this offseason and to have it all ruined and thrown away one game into a season.
I was trading out Hartley because he wasn't named that night and put in Adams, had absolutely nothing to do with Richmond/Carlton I was no joke between pressing the trash can on Hartley to take him out and clicking on Adams to put him into my side.
I've read the rules on the website top to bottom and no where did it state a full side had to be confirmed prior to a partial lockout. I asked them to show me where it stated it had to me and they couldn't show me anywhere that it was stated.
I'd emailed them, messaged them on Facebook and Twitter and only had one email pretty much saying bad luck, don't worry though we still have weekly prizes every round still that I'd be eligible for weekly prizes. I kicked up a bit of a fuss on Twitter and finally started to get some replies through direct messages, not going to do a single thing for me got the whole "unfortunately there's nothing we can do", I've asked for a number to call where I can speak to someone to take this further and speak to management. They've ignored that part of the email both times. I've just sent them another message asking phone a number to contact, I'm not going to let this just be brushed under the rug.
Sadly they're going to do sweet **** all for me though.
Sorry to double post but I've been away for the weekend and I'm finally starting to catch up with everything. The amount of people that this has affected is absolutely ridiculous I cannot believe how many people are going to receive a 0 for the week. The thing I find very interesting is the amount of people who are positive they weren't mid trade or missing a player at the time. I know myself that I was trading out Hartley Thursday night but I didn't think I was trading him out as the Richmond game was starting I didn't think I was in the middle of a trade as the Tiger game started, when I think about it I didn't even have my laptop on whilst the Richmond game started.
Can anyone who wasn't affected remember the time of their last trade before the partial lock out?

The best way for me to look at this is what the overall result was. I traded Aaron Hall, I picked Charlie Dixon so I lost 44 points this week but gained on the break even as he was $93K cheaper. I traded Luke Parker but picked up Matt Priddis which was pretty much no loss, no gain.
I traded in Brendon Ah Chee for Clayton Oliver which ended up being a 6-point loss only. And Ah Chee should get more TOG from now on. The players who spudded it up for me were premiums who should be doing OK from now.

Round 1 - Michael Barlow and Stefan Martin. Both weren't there usual selves in Round 1 and not surprisingly there both key players to there sides who were both beaten handsomely.

Between last minute trades and a few other **** ups my team from last week would have beaten my round one team by an easy 200 points (while still being a bog average team).
Long way back from here and I'm only aiming for top couple of thousand.

Well I registered my side after the Carl v Richmond game with no Carl or Richmond players and supposably that makes it ineligible, so I got a zero AND now have to remove players to fit within the salary cap as I don't get their price moves. Sucks to be silly me. Oh well at least now I can get on Weitering... :/
Same here mate, I'm still on a big fat donut and not happy about it at all. At least they're replying to you, I've emailed twice and got nothing. Someone at AFL fantasy has messed up big time.
Hopefully they'll fix all of the teams that did get a 0 due to Fanhubs issues. You may be lucky enough to be thrown into that category of people who scored a zero and still be awarded some kind of compensation.
