You and Port are the best teams for me. Casey are perennial chokers, Collingwood have several weaknesses (in particular their defense) and I reckon all four of the bottom half of the 8 are chances of putting any of the top 4 out in straight sets however. Bans couldn't have come at a worse time for Essendon haha.

Yes. We have Simpkin, J Merrett, Long, McKernan, Kommer and possibly Grimley to come in next week. Nyuon will probably miss (right arm in a sling today) and I reckon last year's EF will be forefront in both Essendon and Footscray's mind this week. Could go either way.

I remember last years Ess v Willy final vividly. Spun me out how many Bombers folk ventured out to North Port Oval to support their team. Last year is ancient history. Willy have been in all games this year and could've/should've won a couple of the ones they lost. Noone has blown them away. Just because it's finals time doesn't mean they can turn that around. I can't wait for the pointy end. Just like the AFL, nothing is set in stone... ...anything can happen!

Very tough week for tipping. The way I think the finals will play out is:

Week 1:

Casey dft Footscray (Casey actually have their Melbourne players for once)
Williamstown dft Collingwood (Willy still the favourites for mine)
Essendon dft Geelong (biased, should be a close game)
Port Melbourne dft Sandringham (Port still a very strong side)

Week 2:

Essendon dft Footscray (just like last year XD)
Collingwood dft Port Melbourne (very tough game to tip)

Week 3:

Williamstown dft Essendon (unfortunately, same as above)
Casey dft Collingwood (week off does wonders)

Grand Final:

Williamstown dft Casey (Willy are a very very good side and have really only one real loss from last years GF, Marcon)
