Finals.
We need to keep getting finals exp and looking like a good proposition for potential trades.
Top 4 is possible, but I think we would need next to no injuries and everything to go right.

Menadue! Love this kid, can't wait to see how he goes with another year in the gym, think the got all the right tools.

If attitude is anything to go by, he'll rip it up...

I looking forward to McBean, C Ellis & Ben Lennon becoming regular senior games. I'm looking forward to McKenzie, Short, Butler, Georgey, Drummond & Menadue continue to develop, playing decent VFL footy and pushing for the occasional game in the 1's.

I am hoping that Hampson works his arse off over summer so he can actually be the ruckman we so desperately need (near miracle I know). I am hoping Elton finally overtakes Chaplin for CHB.

Prepare to be let down yet again... we're evidently not top 4 material. Home and away games dont mean shit when you choke in the finals and overrated shit teams run all over you.
Yeah but top 4 is decided by home and away games, should have made it this year, its the one way too definitely avoid another EF loss, wont be easy though as I imagine Port will be back in the picture.

Pisses me off about North as well, we should be beating them easily but we lack that x factor type player that makes sure you dont lose these games, Harvey lifts against us everytime, typical our bogey player is a 400 gamer so he been doing it to us for years.

Expectations:
- Top four
- Must win one final
- Vickery and Jack to kick 100+ goals between them
- Cotchin to poll over 20 votes in the Brownlow
- Deledio to kick 40 goals
- Conca to have a full preseason and a breakout year
- The rise of Liam McBean to continue
- Nathan Gordon and Steve Morris to play a combined zero games
- Carlton to win the wooden spoon
Throw in Dusty to win the Brownlow, and when Jobe finally gives the one he pinched back, we will have two medalists in the team.

Who cares about this season stuff?...I'm looking forward to who we fail to get in next years trade period.
Or maybe who get to top us off for top 4, as I feel if we get double chance we will go right into at least preliminary finals.

Double-ups:

Top 6: West Coast
Middle 6: Collingwood, Geelong and Port Adelaide
Bottom 6: Essendon

Expectations:

I think Richmond will finish either in the top 4 or 12-14th. The 3 EF losses will either make them into a dominant team next year or will break them next year IMO. Don't think we'll see another EF final in 2016, but we'll wait and see.

March 24 vs Carlton MCG Home
April 2 vs Bulldgos Etihad Away
April 8 vs Brisbane Gabba Away
April 17 vs Collingwood MCG Home
April 24 vs Mebourne MCG Away
April 30 vs Hawthorn MCG Home
May 7 vs West Coast Domain Away
May 14 vs Saints MCG Home
May 21 vs Essendon MCG Away
May 28 vs Port MCG Home
June 3-5 BYE
June 10 vs Sydney MCG Home

June 18 vs Fremantle Domain Away
June 25 vs Geelong Etihad Away
July 1 vs North MCG Home
July 9 vs GWS Skoda Stadium Away
July 15 vs Adelaide MCG Home
July 23 vs Gold Coast Metricon Away
July 30 vs Hawthorn MCG Away
August 5 vs Bulldogs MCG Home
August 13 vs Collingwood MCG Away
August 20 vs Essendon MCG Home
August 27 vs Port Adelaide Oval Away

The above is my ideal draw for 2016:
6 Insterstate games
No Etihad Home games
No Tasmanian Game
14 MCG Games 11 Home/3 Away
Double Up: Hawthorn Bulldogs Collingwood Essendon Port Adelaide
9 games against this years top 8 sides
7 Friday Nights

With a draw like the above we'd get plenty of big games to get used to playing high pressure footy and if we made the 8 it would be a well earned 4th finals campaign in a row.

We will get a heap of Friday night games again - we turned up in them this year and the afl knows what a crowd and tv ratings boost we provide

Really should be aiming top 4 ....who should we fear ????..the knocks on us relate to performing in finals, the regular season holds no fears

SERIOUSLY
Cant the AFL find a way to share the wooden spoon between carlton, collingwood and essendon for the next 35 years plus.

If we don't improve our list this trade period, we are stuffed..!
Top 4 is possible if we recruit the right players and not just rely on drafting kids....

Another pre season miracle on the bias individual crushes gonna be stars gonna tear it up yeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

I think the double in the top 6 will be against hawthorn purely because of the AFL revenue and possible tv ratings?
Collingwood and geelong are a fair bet for the middle 6 and port adelaide / adelaide / western bulldogs for the middle bracket.

B. Vlastuin Rance Grimes
H. Houli Elton Deledio
C. B.Ellis Townsend Mcintosh
H. Yarran Jack Lennon
F. Edwards Vickery Martin
R. Maric Cotchin Miles
I. Lambert Ellis Menadue Grigg

Looks a good side???

I'm tipping Dusty to have a HUGE 2016. I just think that over the last 12 months or so he has gained the experience he needed to come to terms with playing primarily in the midfield. If he can obtain 25+ disposals a game and be as dangerous around the ground as he is up forward then perhaps he might just have the Brownlow around his neck this time next year. Go Dusty - You are definitely the 'love of my life'!

Looking forward to.....
  • Batchelor adding more rebound to his game. Defensively he had a great year but needs to add more to the team as a 3rd tall.
  • B.Ellis and McIntosh to lift their averages to 30 and 20 disposals up and down the wings
  • Lennon to play 20 games and average at least 15 disposals and 1 goal in a Gunston type role
  • Vickery to be groomed more into Maric's ruck role to allow McBean to play at least 15 games
New players.....
  • If Yarran can average 20 disposals and play 20 games then we make it to the second round of finals
  • But if Townsend has the same impact as Miles then Cotchin could end up with a Brownlow, Norm Smith and Premiership medallion

  • But if Townsend has the same impact as Miles then Cotchin could end up with a Brownlow, Norm Smith and Premiership medallion

Um, Townsend or Miles would win the brownlow. Cotchin wouldn't even get a vote for the Norm Smith because it has Miles name written all over it. Ok, Cotchin can have a premiership medallion and a "best off field captain" medallion thrown in.

Prelim or bust.

None of this win a final shit. We must win 2 at least, so it's either a prelim or a GF or they can GAGF.
