Few thoughts on last night.
Bravo has had a great comp so far. MOM by a mile against Wolves and good again last night. Still very nervy with the ball at his feet.
Zinchenko was pretty good although got shown up a few times. Think he's probably earned himself the back up role to Delph.
Foden and Brahim don't look out of place at this level although neither really stood out. Been a good development year for both so far.
Tosin was good alongside Mangala. Maybe his best for the club so far. Not sure how Mangala is but maybe a league start on the weekend.
Great to see Nmecha and Dele-Bashiru get on and get some good minutes on the pitch. Seen a fair bit of Nmecha, scores plenty but I'm not really convinced. Thought he was overwhelmed a bit but took some bollocks to take the pen. Really filled out in the last six months, looks a proper footballer. Have seen less of Dele-Bashiru but thought he acquitted himself well.
The team spirit at the club seems really good. I guess it's not been tested by a run of bad results but there seems to be a real togetherness there.
Not fussed who we get in the semis although another win at Old Trafford followed by a few times in the privacy of the dressing room wouldn't be the worst.
