Still a major honour, no matter how diminished.
The league cup doesn't have the history that the FA cup does. Should be remodelled. It was brought in when the cup winners cup was still a thing iirc and was an extra way into European football. With the champions league and Europa picking sides who finish top 7 it's not needed anymore.

Should be a u23 entry for top division sides and replace the Johnstone Paint Trophy as a way for lower league sides to win a cup

Amazing what happens when they don't get a home draw

2014 - 4 home 0 away 1 SF 1 F (beat tottenham and Liverpool at home)

Not our fault you've massively underachieved over the same period of time.

You were gifted two non league sides last season

Don't change the narrative, you lot have had a dream run since Emirates took over from Budweiser as major sponsor.

#facts. GYP has been ruined.

Don’t understand the point of having this thread. Arsenal are clearly going to win the FA Cup in a canter, as we always do.

Would Spurs fans swap their recent history for ours?
Yeah nah yeah, there's actually no denying this. Anyone who says otherwise is mad imo regardless of the lack of CL qualification this season.

Any trophy is a good trophy that’s one of the three domestic and European trophies on offer. I think any fallout is just an excercise by the anti-Wenger brigade using it as another excuse to stick the fork into him. Winning three of the last four FA cups should excuse Wenger from any criticism, but the fans obviously want a change now.
What?... #wengerout he under achieved first 10 years... been s**t since

Sorry, the complaint was that we magically were gifted home games in a random draw, not who we played.

And I'm sure you'll also be keenly aware that;

In 2014 - Sheffield Wedneday/Hull/Wigan were the other teams in the semi's ......we knocked out Tottenham :$ and Liverpool, City knocked out Chelsea (away) then lost to Wigan (at home) and Man United didn't even get past Swansea (at home ).

In 2015 - Reading/Aston Villa/Liverpool were the other teams in the semi's.....Liverpool couldn't beat Villa. We knocked out United (Away) Tottenham lost to Leicester (at home ) Chelsea loss to Bradford (at home ) Man City lost to Middlesbrough (at home ).

In 2016 - Everton/Palace/Watford/Man United were the teams in the semi's......We lost to Watford (at home :poo:) Chelsea lost to Everton (Away) Tottenham lost to Crystal Palace (at home ) Man City lost to Chelsea (away) Liverpool lost to West Ham (away)

In 2017 - Chelsea/Tottenham/Man city were the other teams in the semi's......

Tottenham beat Villa (away) Wycombe (home) Fulham (away) Milwall (home) then lost to Chelsea.

Arsenal beat Preston (away) Southampton (Away) Sutton (away) Lincon (home) then beat Man City (3rd in the PL) and Chelsea (Runaway Champions)

You can talk about dream runs all you want. It's not Arsenal's fault that the other teams can't even win their home games to progress.

Whatever keeps you warm at night.
