My predictions were on the money.

We have added Brad Crouch and Gallucci to the injury list today. I expect two late withdrawals from the “squad” (possibly Milera and Talia or Sloane) and we are getting close to the truth. I will also be surprised to see McLovin make the trip to Strath.
My post from 14 Feb below
My $ is on Brouch injury announcement shortly

Not getting into the rest of the argument (Jenkins arguments are about as productive as a rocking chair race in my opinion), but we absolutely should be playing McGovern at FF. Let the man use his aerial skills to the advantage of our smalls. I feel like he found himself on the outskirts of the gameplan a bit much due to Tex and Jenkins being #1 and #2 targets which means the ball didn't go his way enough. To me Gov needs to be full time deep #1 FWD, crashing packs and taking marks. Nothing would please me more then to see other teams defenders refusing to be the spare man because they all new they would end up with Gov's knee embedded deeply into their spine a few times a game. Thats one of the attributes a great #1 forward should bring, fear to drop into the hole!
And that is exactly what we need, which isn't something Jenkins has ever really delivered, and isn't delivering at the moment. But yet he's being paid through the roof, to do what exactly?

My argument is that if he is going to continue to sit at full forward and get 75% of his goals from 21 other individuals good work and not much else, then Id much rather be playing an extra midfielder to help with rotations and help lock the ball in our forward 50. We can rest Greenwood and Sloane forward at times. That's just my preference. Or if Pyke wants to continue to stretch defences, give Keath a trial run, his aggression and athleticism would help fix both our defensive pressure and contested marking. I just worry that Keath's fitness isn't up to scratch still just yet.

I think what people don't take into consideration is that the goals should still continue to come. Whether its JJ or someone else, if we continue to play the way we play, players will still get out the back for those easy goals, and we should still continue our high level of production. JJ doesnt produce a lot his goals through his own work, so failI fails to see why another player won't kick the snags, or they get shared around more.

What's wrong with crouch? Not a lot of info in that release.

Not a great start to the year. 2 starting mids not in full training. Walker looks like he'll have another injured year.
Bit of hammy tightness it seems? Dont think theres too much cause for concern. I think he's done a lot more training than most other years.

Would start to be concerned if he doesn't play JLT 2.

Reading between the lines, I think the only things that we can get from this scrap of info from Don are (1) Gallucci has picked up an injury in/after AFLX, (2) Crouch and Thor have been on modified programmes and will not play JLT1, but should be available for JLT2.
Big deal.

JJ gets out the back because he's faster than most every opponent that gets put on him. We don't have a particularly speedy set of talls on hand.

You must be old ( no punt intended). Because it just doesnt happen Anymore. Plugger had a fear about him. u knew if u went there, u would be destroyed and out of the game. Unfortunately if plugger was around today, he would be suspended for months, not weeks.
I miss some of the biff

The poor guy refused to sign and made sure he screwed every last $ out of our cap.

If your going to rate yourself highly enough to do that, then you better be ready for the critics when they question the return on a considerable investment
No he didn't!

The contract disagreement was over the number of years not on his salary, which he accepted significantly less than the Brisbane offer.

At least try & stick to the facts.

The idea that JJ is not good value in our forward line is laughable. Some of his little gives are great. Never forget him, under immense pressure, pushing the ball forward enabling Petrenko to kick the winner against North. There are quite a few more that will be in his highlights package.
After some of the views you’ve put forward this week you are in no position to be calling any idea laughable

That you’re referring to a moment with petrenko in it, says it all

So..... 30 in the squad.
Brodie, Tex, Brad, Gallucci, Greenwood, Knight are “injured”

This leaves eight players. I think we can assume that Sloane, Hartigan, Betts and Douglas are being rested (or are missing a limb).

Hence we can deduce (I hear the sound of Vader applying the white-out) that Jarman, Edwards, McPherson and Milera are ranked between 40 and 44 on our list.

A big fall for The Wayne, or is it possible that they “forgot” to mention he is also injured .

Pyke mentioned that he has some tendinitis in his knee (which has been common knowledge on here for a while) in his presser today. So he is also injured/on a modified program.

Just going on current rules people are using to judge JJ, The Coaches seem to believe he won his position and he was involved in score assist.
Last time I brought up Stats I was told the Coaches vote was more important, Now you bring up stats, which way would you like to go what the Coaches want or the stats. then I will attempt to answer your original question again using your parameters.
The coaches did not think he was very good, stop telling fibs

He got a middle of the road pass mark, outside the top 10 players

Some highlight

Depends if you think 34 is old or not. I agree about plugger, but are still ways to be an enforcer without breaking the rules. Jumping at the footy is still the best way that I know of
