The funny thing about Matty is they spent half the segment talking about how hitouts can be random and that the follow up work is as important. Then gave it to bloke who is worse at those things.

Really think this would have been the year to slot in an extra ruck on the bench.
Selwood and Shiel are baffling selections. Likewise Betts.

Who wouldn't want to be guided by the warrior Rance?
Probably the worse AA I've seen. Somewhat uninspiring and also somewhat manufactured.
Captain: Alex Rance
VC: Josh Kennedy
You must be kidding me
I would have taken Oliver, Cotchin or even our own Gibbs over him.Harsh on Sheil
surely toby greene instead of betts? wtf?

Could work... except that very few, if any, Carlton players would ever make the side again!Should the AA be changed to a NBA like vote system? - media votes per position - most votes gets in the team ... it will dilate any bias or flawed opinions from so called 'experts'

The AFL have been at great pains to continue their denial of the premeditated cheating undertaken by the Doping 34.Well clearly the AFL don't consider being convicted of taking illegal sports enhancing drugs an impediment to selection for one of their highest honours.
Apparently Hibberd, Hurley, Ryder all "sat out of football" last year.

They reluctantly suspended the cheats after an international body left them with no choice but to do so. The fact that 3 of the Dopers were able to produce AA seasons after 12 months out of the game (& the Dopers FC made the finals) serves to demonstrate that a 12 month suspension was nowhere near sufficient a punishment. 2 years would have sent a stronger message & served as a stronger punishment.
Anyway, fantastic to see Doc in the side. He is a footballer's footballer & typifies the professionalism required to be an elite AFL player (yes, he can now be considered elite, regardless of any stats which may suggest otherwise). On the back of this, I would like to see Murphy hand the baton to Doc as skipper of our great club. He is ready.
Kreuze was unlucky not to be named on the interchange bench, but regardless, he had a fantastic season & delivered on the promise he has demonstrated for so long. Expect to see him go one better in 2018.
1st AA since 11'. Geez.
Onya Doc (Kreuzer damn stiff). Captain him next year.
I'm surprised they couldn't find a spot for Corey Enright again!
