To be frank, I never expected for us to get this far and thought that next year would be the year. I thought we still needed a plan that could work and I reckon we let ourselves down for a couple of seasons trying to emulate successful teams, rather than develop our own plan- which we've ended up doing this year. And by good luck or by good design we've managed to put together a plan that other teams are struggling to combat. Teams (meaning: Adelaide) trying to hold our forwards have to do more than just that- now they also have to break away from our forwards cleanly, and for the second half of the season we've made that very hard for the opposition.
The plan has gradually locked together.
If we can do that, the Crows might find themselves in unfamiliar territory so as long as we can stop them getting out clean, or try not to give them too many behinds to kick in from, I think we can wear them down. and if they cant shake us free, I think they'll run out of ideas.
