Well I just want to wish all those who have never seen a Richmond Grand final live or on TV to enjoy and soak it in and hope it is a win for you. I ve been at the 67,69, 72, 73, 74, 75 grand finals and oh what feeling win or loose winning better of coarse. Only missed the 80 and 82 as I had moved to nsw. Good luck and enjoy to all tiger supporters

Been trying to distract myself today by playing Golf Clash on my phone and mowing the lawns.
I'm not nervous, and I haven't even planned my day tomorrow. I'll do it eventually. I just kind of feel like a fish out of water at the moment. What the hell do people do on Grand Final day? I'd probably just end up sitting in my seat for 3 hours... wtf am I even talking about right now.
Shit.

Just about to sit down with some good Tiger mates and a few quiet ones to watch the 1980 GF.
Was there behind the goals as little tacker and can still remember walking down towards Flinders street with the old man and he's mates after the game in a sea of yellow and black and being so excited.

Looking up the history books in 1979 the year before our premiership we finished with 9 wins and 13 losses.
2016 we finished with 8 wins 14 losses. Close enough for me to say history is going to repeat itself.

I'm at that stage where it's been such an emotional week I'm exhausted and just want the first bounce.
Incredibly proud of this club and have loved having our stories be told and re-told over the week.
It's beyond full on,

But all the same it could be just like Freo who lost the GF in 2013 (or whenever they made it, nobody remembers the loser). Gotta actually win the fuqa now to make it a good memory.

In recent history (maybe longer), that would have to be the least amount of games played before playing in a GF?

4 games and he's 19.
Richard Hadley for the Lions in 2003.

One game in 2001 and his second, third & fourth career games were the 2003 Semi, Preliminary and Grand Finals.

You trump me. I only saw 72 73 74. But Tigers winning flags was the way of the world. My god what a tortured wait its been. But the absolute joy of our finals wins this year has been like a grand final already (to me). I reckon its a 50:50 contest. Its all in the players' heads now. Who manages it best wins

I've worked 35 hours in the past three days. That gets your mind off things.

I won't have any trouble falling asleep tonight.
