I'm a huge one for Matt Scharenberg, that's a given.

I'd really consider Sam McLarty, I reckon he'd be an absolute beauty and I think he'll feel long term for us too.

I think he should be added to the poll.

Chris Mayne is classed as an "Elite" player?
:drunk:
Best joke of 2017. Wrap the year up now folks. We're done here.
I think the way they list players is their guess how much money they can get?
The thinking might be recruits from ther clubs get stronger nibbles than drafted players.
Daicos and Brown would attract sponsors but would look to odd being not future

Very liberal use of the word "elite" wasn't it :)

I'd like to jump onboard this year and I'd suggest Kirby as well. The players club breakfast would no doubt be a laugh with him!
I think that's elite money extraction.
I'm always of the view it's one of those things that's about revenue raising, I find these things tinged with marketeers behind the scenes.
All clubs can do it, but such categories are to be taken with a grain of salt.

Though it is amusing somewhat when one steps back with a birds eye view.

  • But I love that our board is involved

Magpie Girl im noticing two sums being offered a $50 and $100
Is this like the price is $50 but if people do $100 they are doubling their chances of a prize, extra vote that sort of thing, or am I missing something?

And I assume if you happen to win and you don't want a prize(s) you can opt out but that's also declared by the poster?

I'm sorry for not explaining that in the OP Saintly.
I've made the mistake of assuming everyone knows.:rolleyes:

You're right. People can pledge whatever they want in lots of $50.
Each $50 gives you a chance in the draw for the prizes, which you can choose to accept or refuse, in which case it is redrawn.

But each member only gets one vote:)

Excellent explanation

So we have 7 pledges and 15 votes - same thing happened last year if I remember correctly. Can someone update the poll title to let people know in bold black and white to only vote once you've made a pledge?
Meep meep

I think it's ok to vote if you have the intention to pledge - at this stage

I'll be after those who don't follow up:mad:

You should only make people pay if the vote that they want ends up winning. ;)
