Can the Eagles win at the MCG?

Hawks could show up next week after that embarrasment on their biggest stage today.
Then again the Hawks may simply be too s**t to show.

Staying away from Freo and North, Geelong and St. Kilda, Richmond and Melbourne and Essendon and Collingwood. At least in multis.

Tempted to stay away from West Coast and Hawthorn too.

Problem is there's no value in the line in any other match.

Best I can come up with without picking my own line is Port, Bulldogs H2H, West Coast, GWS and Adelaide at the line @ 8.87.

If I had to call lines on the other two, I'd probably take the faviourites. But no confidence in any of those teams to show up or not. Little confidence in the others covering their lines too.

I think the bookies have adjusted well, most of the lines are pretty spot on. Im already on gws the minus and freo 1-39, but other than that will wait for totals

$2.80 for St Kilda is value.

Teams that have a massive win one week typically go round slight unders the next, and I don't think the Cats beat much more than witches hats today. They arguably should have lost both their games at Etihad so far (were in big trouble for large patches against North and the Dees). The Saints play very well there and their form has been more than creditable so far in 2017. Certainties? No. Value? Yes.

I think GWS should beat the Dogs but I don't like the odds. I have the dogs as one of my overrated sides atm and I faded them this week but I think you do have to keep in mind they are champions, and this game might spark them. Richmond seem like a very good side this year, I wouldn't lay 25.5 against them even with the Crows. Carlton are a bad team but the Swans aren't great either. They might get some injured players back which should help but until they show improvement don't think you can justify laying 18.5 with them away from home even against Carlton. So in summary, no bets for me in those 3 games. Like the Saints at 2.8 this week

The saints were at 2.4 before the game today! Spewing that I missed it, instead I grabbed 1.88 pah... Melbourne the week after also looked good at 2.2. Down to 1.75 each now, which you could argue is still value judging by the hawk's year so far lol

Always sucks missing out on a chance to get on at the top of the market but reckon you're still getting value for both. Melbourne especially should do a number on them with Lewis and Hogan back in the team by then.
