Lol I thought wth, how is that advice going to help Pliskova. After she lost the tie breaker, you knew it was over.

I knew when stubbs was coach that it was over

Another coaching advice, I think it was in the first set and Pliskova had lost serve. I wish I could find the footage
Stubbs "it's ok, you are doing well just keep doing the same"
Wasn't actually serious, just taking the piss. ;)

That was the best one. At least there will be some good one liners and we'll be able to understand Stubbsy. She won't take much crap from the player.

Looks like Stubbs won't be taking over.

Former Grand Slam finalist Karolina Pliskova has already decided on another coach. She will work with Tomas Krupa next year, fellow Czech Barbora Strycova has said.

Strycova, who is currently coached by Krupa, is furious. Krupa has worked with Strycova for two seasons, and is the former coach of Tomas Berdych.

According to Strycova, Pliskova arranged the switch following the US Open. The move angered her Fed Cup teammate.

"Our relationship is zero. We do not go for coffee. We no longer have to use the word 'friend,'” Strycova was quoted by Idnes.cz as saying in Linz. "When she told me she was interested in my trainer, her manager, Mr. [Michal] Hrdlička, was already with him. It was done behind my back…And then I learned on the phone that it was over.”

Well this is disappointing, would much rather Stubbs in the coaches box than the commentary box.

Hopefully, we will see a lot more of Molik this year. She wasn't bad.

Can't believe the year is over(bar the other champs(what is the point of them) and Fed Cup.

The EoYC should be the EoYC. they should play the runners up one first and then the EoYCs Or not bother with the runner-ups one at all.

I'd rather Pliskiva have a chance of winning and that's not with Stubbs coaching her!

The groups have been announced:

Federer will be facing Sock when play begins Sunday in London. (AP)

Jack Sock is having quite a finish to 2017. He won his first Masters Series tournament, broke into the top 10 in the tennis rankings for the first time and earned his first berth in the ATP Finals.

Sock is the first American man to reach the season-ending event since 2011.

He will face 19-time Grand Slam champion Roger Federer when play begins Sunday in London.

In Wednesday's draw for the round-robin format, Sock was put in a group with Federer, 2014 U.S. Open champion Marin Cilic and Alexander Zverev.

The other group has 15-time Grand Slam title winner Rafael Nadal, Dominic Thiem, Grigor Dimitrov and David Goffin.
