Tough weather 39C and its 517pm glad she wasnt on earlier lol. Least clouds overhead, cant see rodinova winning this match against a chinese player but will be good to watch none the less. This is the only match being covered tonight from this tournament

well that was a surprise, ive seen a couple of matches of duan and expected her to take care of rodionova, but rodionova was strong on serve and was able to hold serve right through the match for a 7-5 6-4 win.

Millman wins his first round in Atlanta in three sets. Tiafoe had him on toast in the third, just had to serve it out but Millman broke back and took out the tiebreaker. He plays Harrison in the second round.

Darnit! Millman lost in three. He was looking good in the few games I saw and Harrison was throwing his toys out of the cot so I thought John was a real chance, then the rain came and I didn't see the rest of it.

Rodianova's next match is 10.30pm tonight.

Some consolation for Millman, he just won his doubles match, now into the semis, potentially will play the Bryan brothers.

Jordan Thompson is into the final of the Binghamton Challenger, he will play Cameron Norrie in the final. Without wishing to put the moz on him he should win that match easily.

O'Connell has lost 2-6 2-6 in the first round of the Challenger in Liberec. He is one of a number of Australians who are really struggling at the moment. He needs a few wins.
