I have to admit, I would be perfectly happy with Balta at 6. I reckon he could be anything.

Really suits Collingwood's needs too. A genuine swingman who plays like Jarrad Waite. I'd be envious as I'd love to replace that x factor.

Hayes, drops out of the top 15.

Hayes reminds me of Vardy all duck and no dinner wows with his athletic capabilities but barely puts it together consistently. That said Vardy has really improved this year so maybe there is hope for Hayes.

Just trying to compare him to other players like him.
T Boyd - He was a much better forward and he is struggling a little at AFL level.
Wright - I liked him as a forward more as well and he is taking his time to adjust at AFL level.

He did not seem like a natural ruckman and if I wanted to select a ruckman that he was not a specialist ruck, someone like English would be a better option.

Just cannot work out Hayes and where he will be rated. If I was a club, I would almost let another club spend 4 years developing him.

I can really see Freo taking Fogarty at 5, having picked up either LDU or Raynor at 2. He was the 1 prospect going into the start of this year, has the size to be a tall up forward and is a SA boy which has worked out great historically for Freo, and they will be drafting an interstate boy regardless so better chances of keeping a SA boy than a vic one, imo.

I desperately, desperately want Fogarty at #5. Apparently we're into Cerra. Get the feeling Freo are gonna surprise a few people. Passing up LDU/Rayner seems unthinkable though.

That is why Stephenson is being talked about. I still prefer good foot skills over pace. Look at Pendles - you don't have to be lightening quick to be a superstar.
if stephenson goes to north count your selves very lucky....will end up being the best of the bunch....his kicking is ok....but can get better...has major x factor...takes it on and is deadly on the run

Agree ,Stephenson is the most natural footballer, with X factor and speed. Would not surprise me if Silvagni & Brodie call his name out at pick 3.

I think Brayshaw will go #5 to Freo.

Yippee can't wait to trade him to Melbourne in two years.

I think Freo might drag a guy up to #2 after deeming him likely to commit to staying in Perth in the long term. Not because I think Fremantle is such a big victim of "the go home factor", but because of recent player movements which may give them some anxiety about that factor.

I would think Naughton at 5 would make more sense. A WA boy. Genuine KPP to replace Johnson.

I find it interesting that Bradshaw is all of a sudden being mentioned in the top 5. Some on our board are even calling him at #1. He was well outside the top 10 while everyone was still playing footy. What exactly brings about a charge up the ladder when no one is actually playing anymore? Interviews? Character?

He had a great combine reportedly. I think he will go somewhere 8-13 personally.

Picking Naughton makes the least sense in every way. We've got Hamling, Pearce, Logue and even Hughes. We just loss two midfielders and a forward. Picking mids that can play forward are our needs, seeing as it's a weak draft for KPF. If Naughton played for Victoria, not one person would have him going to Freo.

Yeah you’re probably right. As you can see, I don’t really give 2 trucks about Freo.
