Kerber is out
Probably not a bad thing in the long run. Someone like her doesn't want to spend all her petrol tickets in the lead up tournament.

She's booked to play Sydney as well.
Stan still needs to get there, even if he gets through this match he still has to beat Nishikori more than likely.Nadal v Wawrinka will be a good final on Sunday night

That's not great from Muguruza, although I do get it.
Basically said in the presser that she was tired from "all the matches she's been playing," so she pulled out to save herself before the AO.I don't, what was wrong with her?

In essence she pulled a Kyrgios except she retired instead of playing it out.
She did say she had a little pain in her adductor, but she wasn't very convincing about it.Really? That is appalling! At least Nick did have an injury.
Players do this a lot in tournaments before a GS. So what she's doing is normal. Just not a smart way of telling people why you pulled out.
I know a lot of people pull out of lead up tournaments with even the slightest niggle but to say you were too tired to finish the match that seems pretty pathetic.
