2017 Carlton Draw

What do you want to see in our draw for 2017.
Personally these are the things I would want in our draw for 2017.
-Return to Friday night footy
-Play Essendon, Collingwood and Richmond twice
-Less interstate trips
-More Saturday afternoon matches to replace the Sunday 1:10 games
- Avoid playing at Adelaide Oval (again)

Hopefully the draw will be better than the one this year, as we were almost completely shut out of the free to air timeslot.

So maybe we say to the AFL let's play Syd, WB, GWS and Cats in the first month and focus on the 18 remaining games.

Well at least play both Sydney and GWS once in Sydney.

I harpte the Easter Thursday night game...too hard to get there such a busy time at work , much prefer the Saturday or Sunday over Easter...maybe we get the good Friday game.

Scum bags teams twice, an Adelaide game for our SA supporters this year...

If the draw doesn't give us a game in Adelaide then we should sell a home game to play there .(as long as the Adelaide Oval management ensure its a profitable outcome).

The Hawks also want us to play an away game in Tassie again, we should make sure we are adequately compensated for it if we do.

Totally disagree.

We haven't played a game there for the past 2 years.

Time we played a game or 2 there yearly for our Adelaide supporter base.

Eyeing off a trip to ADL if we finally return there. Surely has to be in the line-up?
Interstate games last year = 6 (does it count as interstate with the Hawks?) as 5 is the usual split.

Tas close loss
SYD close loss
GWS loss
Bris close loss

Would like to see us on Good Friday gig. Happy on the 1st game of the season vs Rich.

See if we get some decent $ returns at Etihad for next season. Prefer to see more games at the G (though pretty disappointing that WCE supporters seemingly outnumbered CFC's on a perfect day this season).

Pre-season games at PP and on Fox.

Do you think we could beat Adelaide or Port over there? In the last 3 seasons we have only had 1 interstate win and that was only by 4 points. We actually have had a pretty good record against Port in Melbourne. Our last trip there was embarrassing. Our last trip to Brisbane was worse. Part of the policy for finishing so low should be a softer draw and no team likes traveling interstate.

I'm sick of narrowly beating Port Adelaide at the MCG and my Melbourne based friend suggesting fixture tampering in that it wasn't fair because we keep getting a home ground advantage on a ground they rarely play on.
