Look i watched the game and I'm a big Trengove fan but his pace and power is no different to last year. In saying that i thought he was quite clean and composed with footy in hand. Started in the midfield but 2nd half was used more at half back.

Hibberd was a clear BOG for me. His class and composer and that lethal left foot was on show today. Goody shouldn't beat around the bush with this and must select him next monday.

So this might actually make sense with what's going on with Melbourne
But the Casey players kept getting yelled at to get all 18 on the field with a kicks distance of the ball. Meaning when it's in our forward 50 our defenders press very very high (from a mate who was at the game. Said he heard a few players cop a spray for it)

Pedo was a butcher with the ball. Bull played midfield for some reason. Keilty and pedo rucked. O mac was terrible. Didn't notice JKH. Trengove and brayshaw weren't sticking tackles. Ben ken didn't do much.

I think that backs up how pedo wasn't damaging. Played majority ruck. 32 touches but only 4 inside 50s. 9 hitouts compared to meese 67. Only 2 tackles. 10 marks (but the game plan seems to focus on maintaining possession).

Most disposals on the ground and he wasn't even put in the bests. Doesn't sound like the screams for his call up are accurate

11 tackles for Tim Smith is big. Could've used that tackling pressure from a big guy against Freo rather than Weideman and Hannan's 0 tackles combined.
