Maybe thats something that can be discussed in the lead up to next time - what are our objectives from the meeting and therefore tailor the questions suggested and chosen around that.

I think that's a very good idea. I also think you've been very constructive in your comments here, fwiw. You should consider coming along next time.

It's stylised and cartoony, but I don't think you can say it looks nothing like a crow.

I don't like our logo much either but you're right. My biggest gripes with it is how much of a rip off of the Ravens' logo it is, and how cartoony it looks.

I don't really see the raptor parallel. I'd love to see a picture of a raptor that looks anything like our logo, let alone more like our logo than your crow picture.

Id guess merchandise is doing well relative to market metrics.

We have pissed $800k down the drain, From a merchandising partner clearly not selling a lot of merchandise.

Are we sure everything is going swimmingly and that our eye has been on the ball the whole way through

I couldn't care less about the logo or emblem but I wouldn't have thought a blind assumption about the efficacy of our merchandising & management of it was warranted at the moment

Sales may not have dropped, but how do they know they can't be better?

Who says sales haven't dropped or that they are successful?

That's an assumption based on nothing more than a plea to authority

the same logic that we would have changed logo if sales were bad also says that we wouldn't have let BLK owe us $800,000

Whatever the truth of the matter you can't assume one way or the other without actual facts and data

Where is Port?

That's actually s**t. Brisbane are just below us and North above us, both clubs with small supporter bases. The top 4 clubs are nearly double us.

Did you post that thinking we were doing well?

Port don't give an income breakdown, my guess is it would show how much of it is handouts.

I posted it because people were talking about it and I knew where it was.

This is 2015 though when we had Trigg era guernseys.

What are your thoughts on our performance?

I think it's more to do with our range of merchandise than the logo, that and we have 3 colours that from a fashion point of view are very hard to make look good.

Compare our range of jackets to the hawks

https://hawksnestonline.com.au/men-apparel-outerwear
http://shop.afc.com.au/mens/43.shtml

They have a much nicer range and variety
The Hawks are brown and yellow!

Might be more to do with how good their side is.

But doesn't explain why clubs with very low supporter bases are above or near our results.

I wish I saw this prior to the chat because it would have been a good question to the club why our results are so average.

Mustard and brown are fairly fashionable colours these days. There's quite a few things in the hawks shop that I would wear if you took the hawks branding off of it, can't say the same for the Adelaide stuff excluding the stuff that would just be a plain blue jacket without the branding, because that's just boring.

The Brisbane and north stuff looks better than ours

Freo does better than WC with less support because they have a stylish range with variety

Brisbane are a basket case and have half our membership numbers. Even if you think their gear looks better they shouldn't be close to us.

I'm not relating this to our logo, our results are poor when you consider not only our membership numbers but the general support we have across the state.

First year with new away strip, we should see an improvement on 2015.

Fremantle & west coast is where we should be, not trailing the supporterless north Melbourne

I maintain there's something decidedly unsexy about wearing Crows merchandise in public.

Now, of course, winning makes a big difference, as we can see with Hawthorn. But that doesn't explain it all.

Whenever I see anyone wearing Crows gear as fashion items - they're old.
