4 Colemans
6 soon to be 7 All-Australians
10 club leading goalkickers and counting
2 flags
B&F in a premiership year (a 3rd, 5th and 6th in runner-up years, 4th in a prelim year)
On track for 300 games and 1000 goals (269 games, 856 goals)
Not to mention that past accolades and stats, he's just an amazing footballer to watch. Some of the goals he kicks are unreal, late in games from 50 to bring his side back in it or runs down the wings - 2 goal of the year wins already.

Without a doubt will be inducted as a legend in a couple of decades.
Great post. I think its starting to slowly dawn on some people that Buddy is one of the greatest players ever. When he kicks his 1000th and then after he retires Im expecting people to start rating him as one of the best ever.
Ive always had Ablett senior as the best player Ive seen followed by Lockett and Carey then quite a few in the next bracket. Buddy is up with Lockett and Carey for me now. Just an absolute gun>

Not only one of the most exciting footballers I've had the pleasure to see, also one of the most exuberant.

Not sure he's one of the world's deepest thinkers, our ol Budwah, but who cares, it's so infectious to see someone who so clearly enjoys playing footy. (Who wouldn't, if they could do what he does, seemingly effortlessly?)

Yep he's a freak. Well deserved winner. Had a huge day out and showed how damaging he can be. I'd love to see him kick huge bags in the finals.

Couldn't stand Buddy for years as I thought he was an arrogant flog. By some remarkable coincidence in 2014 I decided I was wrong about him, and that he is actually amazing in every single way.
He is actually (still) a great team player. His field kicking to set up other players is under-rated.
