I think we have raised the bar a bit higher now.Which is true of many 4th/5th/6th round picks, yeah?
By the team you get to that point in the draft, every player has notable deficiencies. Comes down to whether the club believe his disposal can be improved in a professional environment.

I think so too. TAC cup champions will tell us more
Probably the closest to what our needs are but there but there's likely a few ahead of him in absolute terms.Still maintain LDU would be perfect for us.
Goes harder than SPP and was a bottom ager last year, the hype was warranted.... still think he'd be a super get.
#23 Lloyd Meek – A down game for the overaged ruckman. Missed a few easy shots on goal which he should’ve converted, but won a good number of hitouts. Dropped a mark he should’ve taken in the last quarter and it was disappointing to see him have a down game. His follow up with his disposals as always was good.
#23 Lloyd Meek – Great versatility being able to ruck and go forward as a key position option. Great above his head, good skills for a big man and was able to play as an extra midfielder when used for linking up throughout the ground. Really strong running patterns up forward when leading and positioning when in the ruck.
202cm & 104kg, might be a good project ruck for us :

The guy cant kick. Disposal is atrocious by foot.
It's one of the BF blocked websites.
Why did BigFooty block AFL Draft Central?
Did you ever see Jobe Watson kick when he was drafted?
Just read afl draft central power rankings. Watched the Darcy Fogarty video. Surprised how much he reminds me of Cripps. His strength in the contest is Cripps like. Stands up in the tackle very upright and distributes the ball. Hard to stop.
The other element is Fogartys decision making and evasion. With Cripps, more and more we see him look for an option, go to kick then hold onto the ball and step around the oncoming player and look for another option. Because Cripps is big and not particularly quick evasiveness isn't something you associate with him. Fogarty is also quite big and steps around players in a very similar style.
I found Fogartys video very impressive.
Looks like there are a number of inside midfielders available as high picks in this draft.

Agree Fogarty is a favorite a 193 cm midfielder forward Bull at the contest pays center forward how one would spilt I'm not sure untill we see more of him.
Probably 40/60 Darcy is a good footballer no doubt , but that's the piont we already have Cripps and Charlie C which are in similar physics , talent.
That's why I lean towards J. Stephenson ofor X factor , natural footy IQ and speed all tributes which cannot be taught.
SOS was a big fan of Will Hayward. Natural forward talent and the speed and skill to play as a line breaker as well.
Stephenson seems to offer the same ingredients except at a higher level early in his career. I liked Hayward last year too, and love how he is shaping up. If Stephenson is a level up on him, then maybe he is a big shot at our Top 2-5 pick.
His rating seems to be in that ballpark atm. He is one i will look at closely going forward.
Maybe SOS's thinking might be trade in Hopper to replace Gibbs. Draft Stephenson to add forward x factor and onball speed rotation.
Just spitballin'
What about Sutherland? Is he a better forward or are they just saying he is good to trump Cricket Aust.SOS was a big fan of Will Hayward. Natural forward talent and the speed and skill to play as a line breaker as well.

For some reason, I can't see us picking up six kids again... largely due to this reason.I read Knightmares top 20 and it does not sound like there is much depth this year so far. Hope a few step up at the Champs.
Maybe not having a second round pick is not a big deal?
