There are tiny differences which have pluses and minuses to each between two players you might be considering there
Ultimately the call will be made on how those players made your gut feel over the examination.
Few clubs are ever in a luxurious position of having multiple picks close together to spread the risk and the net. It's definitely a choice of nanovibe

Awesome, works in our favour nicely.

As far as Rayner goes I haven't seen much but also heard his beep test was around the 11 mark. Also not a fan of kids coming through trying to copy someone else.

Anyway, I wouldn't be drafting to try and get help for Cripps now, for they will need at least a couple of years to be able to help adequately.

Trade in a Kennedy or someone similar to get help for Cripps now.

At 3 we take Rayner/D Fogarty and run for the hills....

I already find Petrevski-Seton unnecessarily difficult and time-consuming to say.

Thats true but it's not a one for one trade. From the little I've seen, Rayner reminds me of an 18 year Fyfe or Martin. Looks as impressive as anyone we've drafted recently.
I still want Kelly though as he is the safer, proven choice but Rayner would be very exciting.

Edit: just reiterating I've only watched some highlight vids

If we are comparing Dow reminds me of a young Dangerfield

Lions admitted to favouring Country boys or players that are less likely to return home in a couple of years. Brett Anderson's top 6 prediction had us taking him at pick 3, and he usually knows his stuff. There's also a serious question mark over Rayner's aerobic capacity.

Those are just things I've heard that would suggest it's possible but I certainly wouldn't lock it in.

The whole hyphenated surname thing is rather painful. Whether it's dad's or mum's, just make up your mind and give the kid a damn surname, but not two.
IMHO.
