Matt Balmer reported a 11.10 for Rayner at TAC cup testing, Cerra was a low 15 from memory.
I'm leaning towards cerra looks to have the better ball use and composure like pendles the game slows down when he's got it

LDUIf Gibbs goes and we don't trade in mature mids....does that change our draft tactic? Eg...pure mid instead of a mid/fwd?
I think it absolutely does!
Who's the best pure midfielder of the draft ?
I'm no professional athlete but I did 11 in grade 7. That's pretty shit. I drink a lot, I'm 33 and I could do 11 today.Matt Balmer reported a 11.10 for Rayner at TAC cup testing, Cerra was a low 15 from memory.
Haha, no doubt you would. A full time mid at 18 should be running a low 14 surely. Looks like he will always be a forward first.I'm no professional athlete but I did 11 in grade 7. That's pretty shit. I drink a lot, I'm 33 and I could do 11 today.

Sorry..Thats the question with Rayner.Thats
It's not the fact that he won't be able to run through the midfield, modern forwards need to be able to defend and chase back too. Look at Menzel, nearly 40 goals this year yet dropped because he doesn't apply enough pressure. He doesnt need a mids tank. We can play him like bont 50/50 as an impact plauer
I'm pretty confident that if you're remotely able bodied, you could do more than that.I think I could run a 3 beep test.
Unfortunately they no longer do the beep test at the combine. Will be interested to see his 3km howeverThe combine ends just before trade period. We should have a pretty straight forward answer then.
Kelly will have made up his mind by then as well.

The modified yoyo test they'll be doing will work him over well enough if he doesn't have the tank for repeat efforts, and the 2 km they now run will see if he has the basic capacity to cover some territory.Unfortunately they no longer do the beep test at the combine. LDU, Dow & at a reach Stephenson.Yeah massive red flag with Rayner if he can't get himself fit to the level of a casual BigFooty poster then how will he survive in AFL which is one of the hardest running sports in the world?
I was sold on him until I heard that, now I am really warming towards LDU, team him with Cripps and we would have a potentially beastly inside duo. The outside midfielders would be a bit easier to discover I think.
The uncertainty of this draft is why it would have been a perfect year to move the pick for a young established star.

That's about 320 metres over 134 seconds, which is barely above walking pace.
