I'll give you two names for next year, not mentioned in dispatches anywhere yet.....Matty Lloyd [Brother of Swan Jake Lloyd] Tom Berry [Brother of Lion Jarrod Berry].
Both GWV, of course

What types of players are they? From what I can tell Tom seems sort of similar to his brother?

You mean a slow defender that'll never play midfield like several eggspurts on here said?? ;)

Tom's a midfielder with good speed just like Jarrod, not as tall but strongly built and hard as a cat's head like his brother.

Matty's played mainly in defence as a running back thus far, great skill set and a good kick, around the 185cm I'd say and WILL play midfield without a shadow of doubt just like brother Jake.
Hopefully Tom can continue on a similar path to his brother, have rated Jarrod's efforts this year.

Is Matty more an outside player, like Jake?

Bicks what are your thoughts on Izak Rankine ? Didnt he play league for Westies last year as a 15 going on 16 yo ? Got reported a few weeks back as well for striking. I know he's next years draft though.

Having a look through the lists, any big bodied mids with good pace ??

i was aware of him, but hes well out of range.

Prolific ball winner in the WAFL Colts for Subi.

Plays like Scott Pendlebury...:D

A couple of youngsters have also started well in the WAFL.

Brayden Ainsworth has been excellent for Subiaco since crossing over from Esperance. After playing his first two games in the reserves, Ainsworth has starred in four colts games, booting five goals and averaging 29 disposals, 17 uncontested possessions, 138 ranking points and six clearances per outing. Bizarrely, the 18-year-old is a Gold Coast Suns supporter.

Callan England is winning plenty of ball for the Claremont, averaging 28 disposals and a league-high 15 contested possessions per match.
Sounds like a likely type. Would be interesting to see what the knock is. Being an overager (not by much though, Nov birthday) would probably be one

Crowden has a bit of the Lachie Neales about him...

Good to see him and Edwards as the mainstay of the midfield. Would love to see there tackle counts.

Next years draft, Connor Rozee would be a must get. I think he will go quite early on anyway!! Not sure if his old man played enough games at South for him to be considered father son anyway (if that rule is still active).

So many good players next year but he could be the best yet !

How many quiet games does Fogarty need for effectively swapping him for McGovern?

Personally think that no matter what he does we'd still need to manufacture a pick inside the top 10.

Reckon Davies-Uniake could go pick 1 . Very good player and good size moves well inside and out

Standard not great this year

Walsh is a gun !!! For next year

Jordan Butts played well and is late Bday so may end up ok

DeKonig has some traits

Clavarino - more a 3rd tall type at AFL level as can intercept and zone off

Farrell was excellent and can kick it

Hunter Clarke would be a second rounder in most drafts but will be 1st round in this one

Meek will get rookie listed or taken late

Worpel - disappointing and limited upside IMO even though was great last year

Ling - athletic and raw but has upside

Allies - Zac Bailey NT/ PAC boarder has a real crack

Brander defence good interceptor moves well . Average decision maker

Payne plays a bit like Talia , even runs and kicks like him . Poor below knees

Spargo - jet

Clayton - no good

Simington - endurance and goal kicker ( bit slow )

Foster - is a good small defender that uses ball very well . Bit slow but can play

Shipley - is a real goer

Ballenden was poor

Highmore is super tough and intercepts but is slow and suspect when opponent leads up and runs hard

Powell is slow and doesn't cover ground but clean and tough

Blakey Another 2018 star

More impressed with next years than this years mob

Fair enough. This crop does seem very 'meh' overall

Can't wait to see how some Vic M boys perform though, e.g. Petruccelle, Garner, Balta, Cerra, Coffield
Apparently Rozee was SA best yesterday too

Another bottom ager

Tarryn Thomas today as well ! Gun but goes straight to North next year
