Tarryn is a gun, have spoken to him a few times and he's a good bloke too. North have a good one there
If they could get Kelly and somehow convince Blakey to nominate them they will be a machine

Pity Paul spargo didn't play a few more games for them too

Impression of Lloyd Meek's mobility, tap work and kicking.....all very good at TAC level but at the next level??
Good question . Wouldn't say he's overly athletic but he was tougher than I expected as heard last year he didn't like body contact

Workmanlike Ruck , not a star by any means but a big unit and kept grinding away against 3 opponents and he basically Rucked all day other than small chop out from dekonig . Didn't play forward at all

Thomas
Rozee
Lukoscious
Blakey
Jones
Walsh
Bailey Scott
King brothers

Just ones off top of my head that would be top 10 in this draft but are bottom age

Spargo's an interesting one. Did he seem like he's a guy who can make an impact at the top level, despite his size?

mall chop out from dekonig . Didn't play forward at all

Pity they didn't rest him Forward so recruiters could see he has that skill in his kit too, leads up well and sound overhead and a lovely set shot kicker.[/QUOTE]
Yep would like to see it , long carnival and he will get that chance I'd say

Any other Ballarat guys Bicks I haven't mentioned ?

I'm also keen to see Langlands and my other Murray guy play

No !

He was awful but turned it on for 10 mins

Him and the other tassie kid off half back are below par
Was that Hinds? Unfortunate, because he's another one that I thought might do alright this year.

Honestly, Tassie's been a serious graveyard for footy for a few years now, since I came down here

No, surprisingly Jordy Johnston was overlooked for this game, don't care what anyone says he's one of the best medium forwards in this draft and now he's fit he's spending more minutes in the midfield with the Rebels, oodles and oodles of X factor. Cal Wellings overlooked for this game too which is probably fair enough given VC's midfield depth, played VFL this weekend for the Ballarat Roosters.
He will get his shot

BEST
WESTERN AUSTRALIA:
Ainsworth, Joyce, England, Allen, Narrier, Patmore
SOUTH AUSTRALIA: Crowden, Edwards, Rankine, Ballard, Hewson, Coleman-Jones

Ok Jackson, you've shown you can play, now calm down before you cost us a fortune in draft picks......

James Rowe, 5 shots on goal in that game for a return of 1.4. Could've had a good game with a bit more accuracy...

Coming good next year some talent worth Thomas Jones and Gunther

Danger in Texas Jeffcrowe

Some top end talent running around tomorrow in the APS game between Geelong Grammar and Caulfield Grammar. Jarrod Brander must be clever he's named here too or there's 2 of him!

Reckon he'll be playing for Allies.

Saw a few of Dow's highlights, really strikes me as a likely type with his good speed and ability to push forward. Reckon he could be top 10 by season's end.

Just some thoughts at half-time at SA vs Allies

Fogarty is such a presence around the ground, very strong body. CCJ is a presence too, but his kicking is yucky

Giro's impressed me, a bit Hartung-like in that he's zippy and gets possessions, but is short

Lukosius is definitely one to watch, works up and down the ground well for a KPF. Rankine is special.

We've got a good one in Edwards, he's a classy balanced mid, but he does lack a bit of x-factor for mine

Shipley's been very handball-happy, if he can kick more he'll be a first round prospect IMO, seems have a lot of strength in the contest

Ballenden's been disappointing, although he's been played in the ruck a lot

There is a reason Stefan Giro's been my smoky for a long time now.....just finds the pill, just needs to tidy up his kicking a touch.
Yep pinpointed it Bicks, his kicking has been a little hot and cold today, although he's willing to take the game on
