Yep.Cerra be gone ?
I've got him in my top 5 now, actually, reckon he'll do a Taranto-like rise

He looked really classy to me as an inside mid , that left hand handball to the outside in second half was immaculateYep.

Good overhead, good kick, strong tackler and can kick a goal. Apparently runs under 3secs in his 20m, too.He looked really classy to me as an inside mid , that left hand handball to the outside in second half was immaculate
This is why I'm really warming towards Constable after today's game. Was mostly classy with his ball use, but was also tough and clean in the guts.Cerra will be long gone IMO, likely top 10, Dow I'd need to see more of.
I honestly see Worpel as more a Scott Thompson type mid, and I mean Thommo of a decade ago with a touch more speed and better endurance..... and no more mids without grunt that can't seriously win their own ball.

We were never going to take a HBF with our first.Alex Witherden another some of us would have taken before the Gooch having a ripping first game for the Lions currently after impressing in the NEAFL.

Yeah the kick is the problem, although if he can lift his kicking even to just Dangerfield standard, then I reckon he could be a great player, with that mixture of contested ball winning and scintillating speed. Yeah, you know it's a lower standard game when the scores are that low, although the slippery conditions would have a lot to do with that.Only a reasonable game today I thought though it was bloody cold and slippery conditions, certainly has a decent set of wheels and very athletic but kick needs a bit of work IMO. Others for the Knights that caught my eye Lentini and Federico....For the Rebels Naish McRoberts, Trent Read and Domic probably the best. Both sides were missing quite a few of their better players and while the Championships are on all teams have to be made up of 13 18 Y.O. and 11 Under Agers. Game was actually a pretty ordinary affair with a lot of skill errors, ended up drawn with both teams on 6.8 a piece.
Coffield is the Knight I'd like to draft personally and wouldn't say no to Ethan Penrith either.
Can anyone tell me what coffield's contested ball is like ?Yeah the kick is the problem, although if he can lift his kicking even to just Dangerfield standard, then I reckon he could be a great player, with that mixture of contested ball winning and scintillating speed. Would love to get Coffield, he's shot up my rankings in the past few weeks for sure. Not sure what to think of Penrith, wasn't overly impressed with him yesterday
From what I've seen, he's very classy in traffic, not a 'see ball, get ball' type though. Can anyone tell me what coffield's contested ball is like ?
Also what's his best position ?
He was definitely impressive yesterday with his ball use and DM
Teams named for this weekends U 18 Championship games...
Edwards named in the gutz, Fogarty on the HFF and the guy I'm wanting to see Nathan Kreuger named on a 7 man interchange bench or emergency?

You know Vic Metro and Vic Country are two different sides, thoughBahhhhh.....at the expense of Jordan Johnston...
Lloyd Meek wasn't fit for selection apparently he was killing it for the North Ballarat Roosters against Geelong in the VFL but copped a badly corked thigh with bleeding and played no further part.
Don't expect Crowden to go in the national draft, if at all, especially considering his size.Fogarty needs to pick up his game, looks a lazy player. Crowden has been pretty disappointing too thus far.
Yeah Mitch is a nuggety type. Still should be a good state league player.Don't expect Crowden to go in the national draft, if at all, especially considering his size.
Hewson, on the other hand...
See idk, but 3rd round onwards I can see someone taking a punt. If he has a dismal year, maybe not, but he really could turn into a Neale or even Prestia type if everything goes right.Don't expect Crowden to go in the national draft, if at all, especially considering his size.
Hewson, on the other hand...
Lots and lots of upside with Ballard. Very evasive for his size, decision making needs work thoughBallard is getting the most attention over here from the guys that were not in general discussion, a 195cm winger..
He's playing some good senior footy in a quality side now too. He's a very good kick but lacks the polish IMO.Crowden's a very good kick on what I've seen, both penetrating and accurate, think that might get him over the line and on to an AFL list, just go look at some footage and listen to the sound when he sinks the slipper...boom. I'd rookie him for sure if he's still there, maybe higher if he finishes the season well.
