The only one I can simply not place is Jack Higgins, I rate him around the 9-11 mark but I can't for the life of me see who would see a need for him

Oh don't get me wrong Jeff, I'd be extremely happy with Higgins. Greene comparison is spot on. Just don't know which team would want him in that first round situation.Higgins ? 200 gamer , a real pest and a smaller version of Toby Greene
I'd be happy with him !!
The talls always come in earlier as gets closer to draftInterested to hear why you have (IMO) Hayes so high, Coffield a little low and Taylor so high, Jeffcrowe?
Academies and f/s wherever the bid comes is the pickWould this work as a competition?
Phantom drafters are welcome to submit a numbered list of 75 players anytime between now and draft day.
Proposed scoring system
1 point - Picked in the draft
2 points - Picked in the draft and within 18 picks of your prediction
3 points - Picked in the draft and within 9 picks of your prediction
4 points - Picked in the draft and within 3 picks of your prediction
5 points - A bullseye
How should Academy and F/S bidding picks be dealt with?
It might be better to post my power rankings, I'll do so later tonight
Confident he will go top 10. We'd need a pick in there.I'm of the belief that his form drop off is mostly/all down to his knee issues and now that is out in the open I have little doubt recruiters will factor that in. He was clearly a top 3 Pick at the end of last year and there just had to be a reason for his drop off. I'm almost certain if he's there at our pick we'll take him, I just can't forget how dominant he was last year.
Unless of course Aiden Bonar is still there.![]()
I'll just wait for the experts, change one or two and pretend that I know what I'm doing
This is what I'll say and leave it at
Cameron will be playing at the crows next year "FACT"
I am so certain on this that If I am wrong I'll run naked with a port scarf around my neck through the middle of Adelaide oval next showdown
The likes of Ross, Stoddart, Crossley unlucky. Haven't seen Bonar and Murphy yet but feel they could push into top 30 calculations almost immediately

No point ranking Jackson Edwards really, it's a given we're taking him, but for the record late 2nd- early 3rd round is about where I'd have him.

Players I think are a realistic chance of being available at our 1st I'd be very comfortable with - Darcy Fogarty SA, James Worpel, Noah Balta, Hunter Clark, Joel Garner, Callum Coleman-Jones SA, Oscar Claravino, Lachlan Fogarty. Aiden Bonar if he finishes the season off well in the Finals and passes the Medicals OK.
Players I'd consider if there at our 2nd - Gryan Miers [especially if Cameron departs], Dylan Moore, Andrew McPherson SA, Jackson Ross, Jack Petrucelle [Ordinary foot skills and all], Nathan Krueger SA, Harrison Petty SA, Jordan Johnston, Jordan Houlahan SA.
Late/Speculative/Rookie Picks - Tom North, Alex Martini SA, Aiden Domic, Charlie Ballard SA, Ethan Penrith, Brandon Starcevich, Stefan Giro SA, Mitch Crowden SA, Nathan Murphy, Toby Wooller, Lloyd Meek, Flynn Appleby.
And any of the above 2nd picks still available of course.
Edited : Clean forgot SA's Charlie Ballard.
Fogarty's sliding at a rate of knots at this stage, for mine
I'd go Coffield > Stephenson > Constable, probably
Re Rayner - that proves how good he isI've just read on the Brisbane board that Rayner only ran an 11 on the beep test? Is that right? That is a dismal effort, you'd hope drafting him in the top 5 that he can improve that. He is either super lazy (not willing to push deep) or was hampered by injury, surely?
The little bit I've seen of him suggests all the talent is there, but will that be Jake Stringer 2.0? Similar argument could be had for Fogarty I suppose, although we know he was significantly hampered by injury in the champs.
Exactly - wait until he starts doing AFL pre seasonsLet's wait until the combine testing before we get too excited, and anyway I don't think it will effect where Rayner goes too significantly, he does football.
There's been lots of talk re his "tank" but on the occasions I've seen him play he looked fine with consistent repeat efforts. No way we'll get a crack at him anyway even if he tests poorly...He does football.

I want to see us draft Joel Garner
Just because![]()
Use 6/7 on Gibbs? Who are the gun mids in the first lot you mentioned.Darcy Fogarty more than likely, Maybe's Luke Davies-Unakie, Adam Cerra, Charlie Constable, not that far behind and almost certainly available Hunter Clark, James Worpel, Andrew Brayshaw, Lachie Fogarty.
That pick probably nearly lands Bryce Gibbs IMO so then we'd be probably be looking at guys like James Worpel, Hunter Clark and Andrew Brayshaw as possibles with our own 1st, perhaps even Lachie Fogarty who a lot of us rate if still targeting a mid.
