Oh don't get me wrong Jeff, I'd be extremely happy with Higgins. Greene comparison is spot on. Just don't know which team would want him in that first round situation.

The talls always come in earlier as gets closer to draft

Coffield - would be happy to get him into top 6 but just think as a half back flanker it's hard when their are talls there

Re Hayes - it's his ability to make back to back all Australian , kick multiple goals but also develop his ruck game . It's not like you are using pick 2 to draft a ruckman , he's a forward more than ruck currently but his rucking will develop

Advanced on what Peter Wright was dishing up at 17/18 yo and we now know Wright should have gone super early IMO

Constable I'm really impressed with at 190cm and an amazing footy IQ , the best footy IQ along with Jack Higgins in whole draft

Taylor gets job done as key defender , perhaps a little high but because he's a key defender that can win one on ones where Clavarino is more an interceptor

Feel lke we need to get a good midfielder and maybe a good backman to replace LEaver because I am under the impression he could leave.

I'm of the belief that his form drop off is mostly/all down to his knee issues and now that is out in the open I have little doubt recruiters will factor that in. He was clearly a top 3 Pick at the end of last year and there just had to be a reason for his drop off. I'm almost certain if he's there at our pick we'll take him, I just can't forget how dominant he was last year.

Unless of course Aiden Bonar is still there.

Confident he will go top 10. We'd need a pick in there.

I've just read on the Brisbane board that Rayner only ran an 11 on the beep test? Is that right? That is a dismal effort, you'd hope drafting him in the top 5 that he can improve that. He is either super lazy (not willing to push deep) or was hampered by injury, surely?

The little bit I've seen of him suggests all the talent is there, but will that be Jake Stringer 2.0? Similar argument could be had for Fogarty I suppose, although we know he was significantly hampered by injury in the champs.

Re Rayner - that proves how good he is

To me he is clear no 1 pick to daylight as only think that Hayes is the other I would consider a ' special' player

The rest are various levels of solid and good , finding hard to get excited re this draft

Let's wait until the combine testing before we get too excited, and anyway I don't think it will effect where Rayner goes too significantly, he does football.
There's been lots of talk re his "tank" but on the occasions I've seen him play he looked fine with consistent repeat efforts. No way we'll get a crack at him anyway even if he tests poorly...He does football.

Darcy Fogarty more than likely, Maybe's Luke Davies-Unakie, Adam Cerra, Charlie Constable, not that far behind and almost certainly available Hunter Clark, James Worpel, Andrew Brayshaw, Lachie Fogarty.

That pick probably nearly lands Bryce Gibbs IMO so then we'd be probably be looking at guys like James Worpel, Hunter Clark and Andrew Brayshaw as possibles with our own 1st, perhaps even Lachie Fogarty who a lot of us rate if still targeting a mid.

Use 6/7 on Gibbs? Who are the gun mids in the first lot you mentioned.
