List Mgmt. 2017 Draft Needs...

Bonar was one nobody's draft boards 2 months ago, the only draft guy that had even mentioned his name was Matt Balmer and he was mainly going off what other kids like LukeDavies-Unakie and Hunter Clark that had grown up playing junior footy with him had told him of his talents, one viewing live was all it took to sell me on him, the potential and upside is limitless if he stays fit. He's a beast but unfortunately he may be gone before pick 12 even with his previous knee recos.

anyone got highlights of Aiden Bonar?

Like probably everyone on here I would love nothing more then Darcy to slide to us. I think it's wildly unlikely, but his knee injury is pretty much our biggest hope, maybe his lack of set position might help as well. Having said that my thoughts is he goes to one of St Kilda or Carlton, he seems like too high an upside for a team with a 2nd top 10 first rounder to let slip.

If he falls to us this offseason just went from a B to a A- for me.

We started with a spare list spot already. (-1)

Take out Lever, Cameron, Thompson, Gore, Menzel, Wigg (-6)

Add in Gibbs, Gibson, Keath, Greenwood (+4)

So that leaves us on max of 3 empty spots.

12, 39 AND Edwards.

Could always delist another (Cheney) to get a spare spot for salary purposes if it's tight OR another DFA.

Looks a good defender but what the hell is with his kicking action?

Maybe as a part of our deal with handing over pick 10 was a handshake that Carlton wont take Darcy with that pick. The next pick after Carlton is GWS and they dont like to draft SA kids and dont even have a talent scout here.
So there is a chance of him slipping.
Although I cant see him getting to us.

On top of that I would love to grab Houlahan with our second pick. I doubt he will be there as he has jumped in alot of teams minds.
If not then CCJ as a young ruck/forward to take over from JJ and Sauce.
