Jack Petrucelle for speed and X factor, kicking needs plenty of work, Jaidyn Stephenson for X factor long gone before before pick 12, Aiden Bonar both speed and X factor some chance to be there @ 12 maybe, of the SA Boys Nathan Kreuger tall Utility with speedand X Factor but lacks consistency, another SA boy with X factor especially aerially Jordan Houlahan but lacks consistency and production, Noah Balta KPP 3rd tall for athleticism, agility and X factor, that's a few names off the top of my head.
Jeffcrowe ? Danger in Texas

Thanks, mate.

Bicks - where do you see Matthew Ling and Ed Richards being taken?

Are they in the ballpark for 12? They look great flying off the back half and both have a fine left foot.
IMO they get taken in between our picks. Both are not big enough accumulators to be a pick 12, for mine

You must mean the 2016 Championships surely because honestly his performances at the 2017 U18's Championships were very, very underwhelming for a player so highly rated prior, apart from kicking a couple of goals in 2 matches his production and efforts were sub par. The question that remains unanswered is how much effect his knee issue was having on his performance at that time.
The main one I relate my opinion to was the game against the Allies, was a step above the rest. Positioned and read the play beyond his years - disposal unpolished at times but you could see the talent was there.

Just looking at our list and unless we make another cut or two before the draft, we might just be making 2 picks at the draft.

We currently have six empty spots from last year's list.

IN
Gibbs
Gibson
Greenwood
Keath

If we nominate Edwards then I am guessing it will be pick 12, Edwards at 39 and that's it.

Following Charlie leaving, we are down on X-factor and speed. I have no knowledge of the draft pool. Can anyone here (Bicks?) point out the best prospects with X-factor and/or speed in this draft?
Check out Gallucci's under 18's stuff again. I don't think we are losing out on pace too much at all there. And his skills are probably a bagillion times more reliable.

I just choked in my food. Getting Chris Yarran now would be the worst move in AFL history. Waste of a rookie spot if we got him on the list.
I don't mind it, but Adelaide just wouldn't do it. They like their players squeaky clean to appeal to the masses. They also are very unforgiving of transgressions of the past. If Ryder has played for us, the crows would have already come out and said that he was suspended for half the year or something ridiculous to "appear" like good moral citizens.

If found guilty, Ryfer will be suspended for half the year too - September - March. He'll only be allowed to train during his suspension

What's an example of this?

Does that include us going one short last year?

No, it doesn't. But given that our 3rd pick is in the 70s we will probably pass and go one short on the senior list again next year.

Which does beg the question - why get the pick from Carlton if we're not going to use it on a live selection?

Points for Edwards? Will it be enough? If not, it limits the damage to points for next year

Isn't going one short (in the past) had been to keep an extra spot to upgrade a rookie if an opportunity and desire arises? Now that rookies will be able to play without upgrading, would have thought there's no point going in short (assuming no TPP cap reasons).

Hunter Clark & Andrew McPherson would be the 2 I'd be taking at those picks if available, in the rare event James Worpel slid to 39 I'd give him plenty of consideration too but that's highly unlikely.
Yeah, I have seen you banging on about hunter Clark. Will have a look.
I reckon we need big body who can disrupt the midfield with strength and speed. Can rest forward too.

Just read on the MB that Lukosius is a massive flight risk and will be back in Adl in 2 years if drafted interstate.

Any one know anything about this flight risk?

*hopes feverishly for truth behind it*
Nothing that hasn't been said before about an SA prospect. They rarely come back, and if they do they're 29 and cost two first rounders.
