Having a laugh at suggestions Bulldogs will take a KPP :p ......they already have the tallest list in the AFL
Yeah every phantom drafter seems to have them taking Naughton so far

Doesn’t make sense to me, but I won’t complain if the cards do fall that way, as I think the non-KPP is more of a need. Will be happy with Naughton if we take him though, think he’s a sure thing for a KPD

When did this happen?

Think he would be a good pick for us, but until a week ago he was no chance to get us
Privately (PM) ridiculed ;) ......IMO depends on Murphy's , Brander, and Higgins draft position ......simply can't believe Brander sliding, he's too good

Highly doubt we'll take Naughton, expect him to go top 10 ......still believe it'll be a Mid, but not a 178cm mid ......I'm not expecting a surprise at our #12

To who if not the Dogs, though? Sounds like Pies are keen on Fogarty

I’m also expecting a mid, although if Clark and Coffield are gone, who do we take that isn’t a surprise?

Someone like LOB or even Constable would be a ‘surprise’, given we haven’t been linked to them

Everyone's guessing ......last week it was Murphy who Collingwood were keen on

Still think COLL could take Naughton, maybe St Kilda with one of their two picks

I still think it's Coffield, Clarke, Bonar, Obrien .....with a 10% chance of Fogarty

Apparently we've been linked to Allen ??

Constable is sliding by the day, now predicted 2nd Round

Re Coll’s pick - it’s sounding more nd more like it’s Fog. I’d say it’s likely to be him, with a small chance of it being Murphy

IMO it’d be more of a surprise if Saints took Naughton than Bulldogs - their KPD stocks are stacked

Can see any of Coffield/Clark/Fogarty being our pick. We haven’t been linked to Bonar, although smoke screens could be in play. Allen possibly too, although I can’t really see it. Ed Richards is even a small chance, I reckon

We won’t take LOB

Group think mentality .....last week everyone had Murphy to COLL

Today talk of Richards to Carlton at #10 ........just all rumor & innuendo

IMO either way, Fog and Naughton will be gone between 6 and 10, it’s just a matter of to who. I’ve still got Fog to Coll at this stage, it makes sense from a list balance perspective (don’t have any of his type)

Sounds like LOB has serious interest from Carl, too - I’d love it to happen, but I’m not sure if they’ll reach or not

Also rumored to GWS at #11

How do we think we are stocked for running half backs ? We don't have too many IMO

No one of note plays that role in sanfl and Seedsman has been pigeon holed as a winger which is fair enough

Laird is a gun but not a ball carrier and ditto Brown

Wouldn't surprise if we had Clark , Coffield and Richards in mix for our pick potentially in that order or reverse coffield and Clark ( and I also think Clark is more a mid but he can play there and will prob start his career there or half forward )

Exactly, especially with Smith out and Wigg gone (who wasn’t played there but could play that role if required), it’s an area of need. Getting someone with 12 who is versatile enough to play this position as well as go onto a wing/into the guts would be extremely smart. Coffield or Clark would be ideal, or McPherson/Paton at 39

Could Sinor be a potential rookie?

Looks likely

Can see Pies taking Fog or Murphy with Fog in front

Wouldn't be a bad partnership with Moore in years to come as they are opposites
But Naughton or Brander would suit COLL better ......they already have Scharenberg @191cm to play the same role as Fogarty?

Richards No ......he's a 2nd round pick that has been overhyped

Can Richards play wing long term, or would the thinking be to replace Smith off half back with Richards and move Brodie up the ground?
Grabbing a hbf with a first round pick to cover a 12 month injury does make sense, so what would be the long term strategy?

I do think that he’s not worth pick 12, but I can see why we might be interested in him only as an absolute back up
I understand this thinking with a 2nd round pick ......but at #12 we don't take backup players & this looking to replace Smith thinking is just wrong

Pick 12 has to have, Leadership qualities, good skills & thinking under pressure .....and generally we've taken players that have gone well at the running at the Combine

And how many years have we been discussing this ......lets face it, not going to happen

I'll be interested to see if Hampton and Milera train with the midfield group this pre-season or defence.
Hampton definitely midfield group .......hoping Milera with defensive group
