Well, I don't know anything about the draft prospects, so I went to something called Zero Hanger and watched the clips (single game) of a few of the names that are being tossed around as being available at our pick 9 or 16.

Only two really grabbed my attention with some wow factor in their game: Coffield and Higgins.

Coffield plays on quite a number of times and finds his way through the traffic, breaking the main defensive line before kicking the ball. Not afraid to take on the tacklers. I can see why many don't think he will last to pick 9.

Higgins is indeed an absolute live wire, lots of excitement in the way he plays. If he is there at pick 9, it would be hard to go past him. Hate to say it but he had a bit of Toby Greene's about him except that he doesn't seem to be a dirty coward.
Would you take Higgins over Coffield at pick 9 if both are still there?

Goddamn I want Richards. Can't see us taking him at 9 so I really hope he lasts to 16.
I'm with you Captain , I have watched Richards a few time now and think he would be great for us.
And agree 9 looks a little early , but he screams AFL player to me.

I could live with that if Dal believes he's the best there at 9 and not because he's scared he won't fall to 16.. A lot to like about him...

Just think Dal would really like Constable.
That is my thoughts with CC too really.

He is such a natural footballer it isn't funny. Put him forward he kicks goals, put him back he reads the play and intercepts, put him in the middle and he wins contested footy at will. Pretty rare to see a player that can do all of that. Bev would love it.

All I saw was two 2 minute clips of them in a single game.

I would have to say Coffield would have the edge because of the confident way he holds onto the ball after he gains possession and then like a knight's move in chess runs through the defensive line before kicking the ball from a spot clear of traffic that he has obviously established before he started his move. Absolute silk.

Think of the move Bont pulled to execute the pass to Tom Boyd in the 2016 Grand Final.

Naughton not top ten talent, Saints to get Bonar and Brayshaw.
Freo pick 5, is the draft, domino pick.

He doesn't think Fremantle or Collingwood go tall, unfortunately, so nobody we really want to slide.
That would leave us with either Naughton (another young KPD...) or Brander (drops too many easy marks).

Would honestly rather Constable if everyone went small before us. He in my opinion is the most likely to succeed in our system.

I can see St. Kilda grabbing Coffield and Cerra if they're both available. They don't need any realy help in the grunt department but are screaming out for some silk.

I don't know if you watched them much this year but they really need some elite ball users in the middle and off half back.
