It was about the time of the bigfooty trial run where whoever picked Shipley made that claim and I put he and Constable side to side. At the time I saw a lot more upside in Shipley and I think he quietly had a pretty good year too. Spent time in the GWS reserves where he performed well. Combine testing showed that combination of elite speed and endurance that when combined with proven performance throughout the year and some contested ball winning ability gives you a lot of confidence in a draft prospect taking the next step. Compared to Constable he may not be as sure a thing but he has more upside given his relative lack of experience and his athletic ability.Tested very well. Seems like he's got plenty of upside as he only started playing footy 3 years ago as well. Some on here (like Chris25) have argued that Shipley will end up a better player then Constable and I can now sort of understand why after watching few of his videos. Doesn't seem overly clean though, fumbles quite a bit in those videos.
