Higgins?
Not particularly quick or a great pressure player, I’d say Lachie Fogarty would more fit the description

Higgins?
Castagna was recruited as a small defender, who was turned intoIs there any dangerous small forwards in the draft? A Daniel Rioli or costagna type that has pace and can lock the footy inside 50? And can also hit the scoreboard? Surely that's what we need?
Gryan Miers although his projected range is a little after our first two picks - tested a little slow (as did Lachie Fogarty IIRC) but both were carrying injury at the combine apparently. Is there any dangerous small forwards in the draft? I remember there were reservations about Caleb Daniel and Graham from Richmond. Both slipped down the pecking order, both premiership players. Good stories. Not particularly quick or a great pressure player, I’d say Lachie Fogarty would more fit the description

I'm not saying he's no good, just that he doesn't really fit the description in the question askedI remember there were reservations about Caleb Daniel and Graham from Richmond. Both slipped down the pecking order, both premiership players. Good stories.
Going to be an interesting draft.
Yeah Naughton the only one in the whole 30 even mentioned as an option for us at 9, clearly we're keeping very tight lipped about it.Reading Twomey's phantom form guide, it strikes me that absolutely nobody knows which direction we're going at 9. Most of those summaries say we're expected to look at them with 16, very few say we're keen at 9. Could be a surprise coming.
Also says Stephenson could get through to the Giants or Swans - that heart problem must be really scaring clubs off.
Charlie Spargo and Brent Daniels are two players that have the speed and ability to hit the scoreboard, Spargo is known as a player that finds a lot of the ball and Daniels has elite endurance so has the tools for it. Quite a few smalls in this group who have had good years but are hard to place. Is there any dangerous small forwards in the draft? Aaron Trusler or Dylan Landt late or as a rookie. Is there any dangerous small forwards in the draft? A Daniel Rioli or costagna type that has pace and can lock the footy inside 50? And can also hit the scoreboard? Surely that's what we need?
And Constable 7:58. Ew.Darcy Fogarty ran 7 and a half minutes in his 2km today and Rayner was a shade under 8! Yikes.

And Constable 7:58. Ew.
Not that keen on Lachie but I’m all over Darcy. But i think if Freo doesn’t take him at 5, Pies will take him at 6. If he’s there at 9 and we don’t take him I’ll hardcore melt.I'm all for the Fogarty's bandwagon
Bulldogs have kept an eye on Lachlan for the last couple of years
Reckon that scuppers any chance Rayner goes number 1. Not much excuse for not being able to get close to 7 mins.Darcy Fogarty ran 7 and a half minutes in his 2km today and Rayner was a shade under 8! Yikes.

Think Dunkley will surprise a few this year.
Torrid 2017 - he's a country mile better than that once fit and uninjured
Also surprised we would be interested in another tall , but after looking at his highlights I can see why.
Looks to have the tools for AFL.
I know he has an awkward kick , but it's not terrible and looked reasonably effective.
I would not be against taking him . Still question marks over Adams's ability to stay on the park and Moz right at the end. Take a quick mid with our second and I would be happy.
Surely someone like Collingwood take him , they are crying out for key defenders.

I’ll only melt if he’s there and we don’t take him. If we take Bonar or Coffield over him would reduce my melt significantly. So if we don't take Darcy Fogarty you'll melt and if we do then Gollo will melt.
This is going to be quite funny either way.
