Next year is supposed to be an excellent year, however with West in the pipeline (and the reports I've seen have him playing well as an under-ager) would we consider trading away next years' first rounder for a first round pick this year? Perhaps we could pick up an extra 2018 second rounder to make up some of the points difference for bidding on Rhylee.
This was my thinking as well..
It could work and means we effectively end up getting Rhylee with a combination of points that add to a first rounder. And gain an additional first to use in this draft.
If we keep our first for next year it's likely we'll have to use that on Rhylee anyway. So we may as well try to get the most out of it. It would be safer to try to receive a few more picks for next years draft so we have enough points for Rhylee and any academy prospects (Buku is looking good) through any player movements this year.
Definitely something to consider.
