I'm really attracted to guys that have the core skillet for their position, but have additional tools that others he would be competing agaInst in game don't have. In this instance Ballard's link up play, positioning to receive, running and ground level ability are sufficiently competent for the wing position, but additionally his height, which would allow him to be an ariel threat by position, giving his team a competitive advantage. Players that have these additional advantages are uncommon and for that reason I would consider him at our first round pick and value him in the range of 8-20
I can get what you are saying but I don't think he will go that high. I fully expect him to be around our second pick (26) because of the years that other players have had.
The reasoning you have behind taking player who have an xfactor is the reason why I like Joel Amartey and Kai Owens from Sandringham at later or rookie picks.
