I am trying to think of North Melbourne's gun youth. Other than Ben Brown, who isn't that young, and maybe that Preust guy I can't really think of anyone. I guess I don't know North Melbourne's list too well.

Stephen Conole said that they will interview Rayner again after his final exam (which is tomorrow). I think they will tell him then either way what they will do and it will leak out from there.

I paid close attention to him in 2017 because the Swans were expected to pick him but went for Florent instead and my overall impression of Simpkin was he is a shocking kick for goal.

Truly? I got told a couple of weeks before the draft that they were going to take him at 1, from a particularly close source. But who really knows I guess.

Kind of like this thread that in the space of half a day has LDU by a margin for pick 1 and Rayner/Brayshaw 100% for pick 1. Who’s to know...

He's not a bad kick for goal, he couldn't kick beyond 30 metres, due to the broken leg from juniors, at the start of the season and was slotting them 45 out by the end of the season due to leg strengthening.
