Nick Murphy be a risk at 6

No risk, no reward. Plenty of upside at least.

Brisbane showing interest in L. Fogarty could indicate they will take Rayner at 1. Rayner and L. Fogarty played together for Vic Metro and Western Jets, plus they appear to be good mates.

Would align with what Brisbane did in last years draft (drafting best mates Berry & Mccluggae, along with fellow Rebels teammate Cedric Cox).

I've had them taking Dow and O'Brien for the same reasons. Both Bendigo boys and teammates. But this could indicate that they are a chance of doing the same sensible tactic with the Jets boys.

I want Dow at Carlton, but would be just as happy with Rayner and LDU. But i was pretty certain Brisbane will take Dow. I still think they will, but Hodge being up there alongside Beams certainly seems to be giving them the added confidence to take a punt on Rayner to put under their wings. That's just the feeling i'm getting.

Sam Hayes is definitely one of the most intriguing picks for this year. Currently I have him going to Geelong at 22 but I think he could slide out of the top 25.

Yes it's more likey that's behind our thinking LDU bestmates are Bonar and Clark both most likely gone by pick 15 but we haven't been linked with Dow

Rumour from a few North posters that the club doesn't rank Stephenson in their top 5, so st kilda look likely if that rumour is true, I have my doubts though.

I had not even heard of Murphy a fortnight ago, then I heard suddenly that the Swans are very interested in him at 14, and suddenly the Bulldogs are interested in him at 9 and even Collingwood are considering him at 6. He has jumped up the pecking order a huge amount in a very short period of time.

Reportedly the Lions are keen on him as well, depending on who else is available we could nab him before the Doggies with pick 15.
